FOF Multiplayer Q's

I know this is probably in the wrong place, but I'm not sure how often the other forum is visited. Plus I like most of the people here. I just had some q's about FOF MP leagues.

Exactly how much time do you typically have to dedicate to each weeks game? Offseasons? Drafts? Which leagues have been around for a while? What's the deal with all of these house rules? Any other advice you can offer?

I'm seriously toying with the idea of joining a league. I considered being a part of this MAC league starting up here, but I really don't want to get burnt out on NCAA. Any help and/or advice you guys can provide is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
