I've already started contacting people, but I imagine the relative closeness to the end of this game's "support cycle" may deter people.

WVUFan, you should now be able to play the computer. Hopefully, you can get your game in today (Saturday.)

Has it been announced that we can continue 2009 leagues in the 2010 game? That may help a little.

Also, I'd make the suggestion that we go with a more aggressive cycle with 2010. If people can't get their games in, they can't get them in. We might make 3 complete years before the next game comes out and that ain't a lot of fun if you're trying to develop a team. It almost makes recruiting a non-factor due to the short time you're playing the game.

I can see the appeal of a "speed" sim league where go through the pre-season stages in one day and maybe do a 2-day game sim cycle with the idea that you either get your game in or you don't. You could sim a season a month in a model like that.

It would put a crimp in schedule some h2h matches, but you could determine the sim schedule for the entire season at the onset, so you would know well in advance when you were playing a human and schedule that weeks ahead of time.

Right now I would say I'm 50/50 on getting 2010. I think there would have to be some advances in the offline dynasty mode to hook me. Without house rules (especially on recruiting) it's pretty easy to put together a team in a few years that simply dominates the AI.

My strong suspicion is that we won't be able to continue this league in 2010. I also worry if EA will continue to support 09 dynasties once 2010 is out.

Please welcome ColtCrazy to the league. WVUFan, if you 2 can work out a time to play later today that would be great. If not, I'll still keep the team on CPU for you to play them this week.

I was actually planning on playing my game in a few minutes, as the rest of my day is being spent with my family.

Go ahead an play it vs the CPU, I know you've been trying to work out scheduling with SirFozzie this week.

ColtCrazy will join after the game.
