Our former rival USF came strutting into our house this weekend and things went from bad to worse for them early.

After building a huge halftime lead I paused to check the history here and saw a 119-20 seemed to be the biggest margins of victory in league history so I had a goal to chase.

I both succeeded and failed as I racked up major stats en route to scoring an absurd 134 points, but it came at the expense of allowing 38. To be honest I did kick and recover an on sides kick late and allowed them to score on another just to throw a hail mary. My players carried me off the field and we embarrassed our rivals witha couple recruits in the house.

Heisman Hopeful QB Devin Rankin threw for over 1,000 yards and and 13 TDs.
While dynamic Fr WR Jermaine Ward had his coming out party with 16 catches for 533 yards and 5 TDs.

3 WR tallied over 200 yards receiving.

It was a fun and crazy game...USF was blitzing like mad. Any normal underneath pass was contested like crazy but even late they played bump and run and we were able to throw up bombs almost at will. Our WR could do little wrong.

I am literally nearly shaking from trying everything I could to score catch Indiana and USCs scoring record...including the final TD an 80 yarder from a hail mary...lol realism be damned.

It brings up a dilemna though.

Games like this while amusing certainly are beyond the point of realistic. However other games when the computer is "on" are tough enough to escape victorious.

Do we need to increase Offensive difficulty?

There might be an option to play on Heisman on offense and AA on defense.

Man, you guys must really run that hurry up all day long.

I'm all for a tougher time though, because our teams are clearly superior in almost every way to the AI teams. They need a little help.

Our offense was really off early today and we threw two early picks and were only up 10-0 at the end of 1. But, our defense had a monster day holding Oregon to under 50 yards in the first 3 quarters. In the 4th, our defense fell apart as they got tired but we still cruised to a 73-10 win over Oregon.

We whipped Buffalo 56-10 (damn pick six marred a good defensive outing). Julio - are you at the point of not needing all your recruiting points? You have a bunch left. We'll be ready to advance when CU gets his game in.

Sorry guys.
Didnt realize we had advanced and were waiting on me until Kodos pinged me the other day.

3 of my first 4 passes were INTs.
1 was user error, I just missed the DB standing in the middle of the field logo. The other 2 were open WR and bad passes.
Then a fumble on a QB zone read keep and we were quickly down 24-0.

I couldnt stop VT all day.
I scored with 19 second left to take a 48-47 lead.

Then had to hold off a flurry of 3 completions in 14 seconds (after an sky kick off) as time expired with VT catching a ball down the the 19 but no time left for the chip shot fg.

survive and advance some damn way.

We had some very sloppy moments including a few picks by Bell (2 bad decisions by me and 1 underthrow by him) but we crushed Toledo 91-20. We were dominant on defense until our defense tired in the 2nd half. I played my backups a good part of the 4th and Spencer managed to get a few TD's under his belt to help prepare him to take over next year. See you next week Kodos!

EF and I just had another classic game. Neither defense could stop the other offense. In the second quarter, Doug Rivero forced a fumble by Rob Bell on 3rd and long, but one of his linemen picked it up and ran for the first down. I could hear EF laughing about it through his Kinect. The Trojans would go on to score a TD. We went into the half tied at 21-21, and we got the first crack at the ball after the break.

In the 4th, trailing 35-28 but in our red zone, Bell and company were trying to knot things up once more. As Bell rolled out to the flat, sophomore CB Clint Dean came in and hit him, but Bell broke free and continued toward the endzone. Senior free safety Terry Curtis met Bell at the 4, and strong safety Mike McGill came in from the side and knocked the ball loose. Dean, who had missed the initial tackle, had gotten back up an hustled toward the goal line, and arrived just as the ball popped out. He scooped it up and returned it to the USC 45. He probably would have gone the whole way if defensive end Travis McFadden hadn't gotten in his way. It didn't matter, as we ran the ball 8 times in a row on the way to the endzone and made it 42-28 with 1:13 left in the game. Of course, EF and his boys didn't lay down and die, as they drove eighty-something yards and scored a TD with 41 seconds left. However, the onside kick went directly to senior WR Kevin Carter, who caught it cleanly and got down, and we knelt it out to preserve a 42-35 win over USC. Another great game, EF. Good luck in your bowl game.

I couldn't believe that linemen picked it up and ran it for a 1st. I couldn't help but laugh at that. The final fumble was so frustrating. Stupid of me not to just get down and take the yardage I could get.

Good game and good luck in the National Championship Game.

At some point for certain. I'm a bit wary of trying to get a game in until the end of the month though, my internet speeds were throttled down a few days ago because I hit a data cap I didn't even know existed.

We should be able to play as soon as my internet is returned to full functionality.

You good for sometime toward the end of next week CU?
