I didn't even think about the fact that I signed a 5* RB already. That must have something to do with me having 2 backs with 80 OVR or better xfering out. That makes it kind of cool actually.

I have another idea that will never fly. We have a 2 hour window where everyone recruits live and we advance through all the recruiting in one shot.

If we could coordinate all 12 people to be on at the same time, I'd be for that. However, I imagine it would be hard to coordinate so many schedules.

Recruiting stage 2 is now ready. IU landed a 4-star WR in Scott Allen, who should be our first legitimate deep threat with A speed and his 6'4" frame.

We also landed the 8th-ranked kicker in Courtney Pollard, so IU should have good special teams play in the kicking department when Pollard is paired with the #1 punter from this recruiting class. Too bad our stud kick-returner Marcus Thigpen graduated.

Michigan landed 8 four star kids this week, pushing us up to the #5 class in the Nation with 12 total commits, all of which being 4 stars.

It looks like Georgia Tech has fallen from a 4* prestige school to a 3* school. That's going to hurt recruiting next year. I hope that I can get right back up to 4* by making a bowl next season.

I forgot to look at our prestige. Wonder how the others did (I'm guessing teams like Washington, BYU, Indiana gain a star). It was maxed out, so hopefully we didn't lose one.

I know that IU gained a star (to move to 4). I believe WSU is 4 stars now too. I added it to the end of season rankings chart, so you can find it in the 2008 summary thread.

I just checked: BYU is 5 stars, Wash and IU are 4.
