EBFL Week 2! Files due Tuesday

As I said in the other thread, couldn't figure out how to assign commish status to myself so for now I'll just go under the asshole's name and advance when needed.

Week 2 lineup:

#20 Colorado @ #16 Kentucky
#4 Oklahoma @ #13 North Carolina
#2 Arkansas @ #9 Oklahoma State
#14 Pittsburgh @ #3 Texas A&M
Florida State @ Virginia

I believe the advance date would normally be Monday but I know wade is gonna be out of town and I'll be gone through Sunday.

cmp, is your brother going to play me or should I run vs the cpu?

A&M withstands a second half charge from Pittsburgh to open the season with a 45-28 victory. The game was actually closer than the final score seems. BrianD was driving the ball close to our redzone down by only 10 points with several minutes left in the 4th. An outside linebacker jumped a pass to the flats and took it to the house though to put the game out of reach.

Good game BrianD. You played well and I just had some lucky breaks in the game. Best of luck the rest of the way.

So many things happened in this game that I'd want to talk about...I just wish I had taken notes. Let's see how many I can remember...

Your opening game kickoff return for a TD scared the crap out of me. I don't think I had anyone even close to touching you.

The first pick I threw (right after picking one of yours) was me panicking on seeing a wide open receiver and hitting the wrong button.

On your 70+ yrd TD pass, I was sure that I was going to score on that play. My CB was in perfect position but didn't get the ball.

You had a pass to a RB in the flat that went for a TD. I made some mistakes going for power tackles, but your RB made some moves I hadn't seen before.

The punt return I had for a TD was me trying to call a fair catch but accidentally switching away from the returner before I called it. By all rights, you should have hurt my returner and picked up a fumble.

You were clearly the better player, but I felt like I kept up with you decently well up until the end.

Oddly enough, my team went from a 91 overall rating last year to a 79 this year.

You played a great game. I'll be looking forward to a rematch.
