Not looking good, guys

For the second time now, I have set the league up (which takes almost 2 hours with all of the shuffling of teams, changing conference rules, etc.), only to have it fail to upload during the validate rosters stage. For the past hour and forty minutes I have done nothing but watch it upload, get to around 66% complete, fail, then hit retry. Twice it got up to 78% or so before dying. I kid you not, I have probably hit retry 60 or 70 times at this point. I think I am about ready to throw in the towel on this project, unless somebody else wants to give it a whirl. My free time is too limited to waste it on this shit. The frustration is not worth it.

Things that could be going wrong:

1. Choking on a teambuilder team
2. Choking on the roster I downloaded from OS
3. Choking on all of the realigning

I am willing to bet it is on 3, but I am also willing to bet EA is incompetent.

I don't know what to say. Do you have to build everything online and then submit it?

Yep. No option to save and try loading some other time.

That sucks. You could try contact EA over at OS or something and see if they have anything to say. Could at least be a fun experiment to see what sort of reaction you get.

My theory is that it is the roster. I'm going to try a quick test OD where I just load our teambuilder teams in with the default roster and see if it takes it.

Well I know it would suck, but I wouldn't be opposed to starting from scratch again if needed to keep this league going. I love the concept and the teams and such...I know it would be a pain in the ass for the teams that have done well over our seasons, but I like the structure and set up of the league, and not to mention the fact you have put time into it.

I am saying, I would hate to see it die.

Okay. It just choked with the roster I used the other night and no other changes from the default setup. Will now test after deleting roster and using default roster.

Worked just fine with default roster and imported teams. I also swapped some teams around. I think we've found our culprit.

The one the game ships with. I deleted the rosters I had downloaded, then restarted my xbox.
