24: Season 6 (Spoilers)
I know it still is a 8 days away, but I'm extremely excited for this show to come back on the air. Not to mention they are starting the season with a ban, 4 hours in 2 nights. WOOOOO!!!!!

The first four episodes are online (though not legally) pretty easy to find though, and you can be the balls wallace around the water cooler if you've seen them first.

I work Sunday night so was bummed about not being able to watch the premiere.
Easy, any way you can PM me on how i can find the first two episodes? I'm internet-retarded.

I have no idea where they are, just what I heard. I'm sure they're on a myriad of torrent sites like everything else in the known universe.

A buddy of mine told me about the torrents too. I admit I have downloaded shows and movies and such...but this is one of those shows that I just have to wait until it actually airs. I cannot WAIT until next Sunday.

I can't believe no one else has posted in this thread. And yes, that was the best thing I've probably ever seen.
One thing that really blows my mind...does 24 so badly need the drawing power of having a guest star like Kumar that they chose an Indian guy over someone who's actually Middle-Eastern? |

I think Jack's two kills so far this season rank up there with his career best.
He goes vampire on a dude, ripping out a bad guy's Carotid artery with his teeth. Then he kicks a suicide bomber through a window and out of a moving train. Two classics to open the season with. Inspirational. |

WTF? Dr. Bashir outinterrogates Jack Bauer?
This season will be the worst if Jack doesn't get to interrogate Kumar. He also needs to interrogate Morris, I hate that guy. Audrey also, seriously The Nine? What the hell was she thinking?

I like the cast of characters this year, especially Scott Winters (Cyril O'Reilly from OZ) as the FBI dude and Marisol Nichols (the smokin' hot chick from "Blind Justice") as some CTU agent...

DD -
I think this is the only show on television when, in the trailers they say "The most shocking twist ever!" or "This will change everything forever!", they deliver. Tonight is going to roXXors. Last edited by Toddzilla : 01-15-2007 at 08:38 AM. |

I don't watch this show, but I hovered my mouse pointer over the thread title and saw st.cronin's post. I ended up opening the thread. My thought process went as follows:
"Haha, that's pretty funny. Ripping out throat with teeth. It would be really funny if that actually happened in the show." "Wait, these people are making it sound like he really did rip a guy's throat out with his teeth." "Who's Ahkmed?" "Does this Bauer dude kill somebody every episode?" "Ehhh, I'm not so sure that I want to watch this show." "Oh, shit, who's the girl? I think I should be watching this show." "The most shocking twist ever is that I'm actually going to make a post in this thread." "I hate myself."

Good to know that someone else noticed Rube as the contractor guy.

I didn't see the throat-rip, but the suicide-bomber-out-the-train kill was cool.
It was the first episode of 24 I'd ever watched, and that was by accident. I'll have to check the Xbox Video Marketplace to see if they have 24 up there. If so, cool. If not, well, I'm going to miss tonight's episodes due to work anyway, so it won't kill me to wait a little longer to catch up. |

I think my favorite Bauer moment is still when he shoots the guy, then cuts off his finger so he can fingerprint him at a later time. I don't know how you top that. |

By authority of the president of the united states, delete this thread!
- who actually says that. like in the promo bauer is heard saying in some garbled english: "By authority of the president of the united states, drop your weapons!" So the weapon holder would be like "Oooh, had no idea you worked for the president. Sorry about that." and then they put their weapons down. I can see that.

Suggestion...
Take "spoilers" out of the subject. Yes, people will be talking about the show so it could be a spoiler for someone on the west coast or who has it tivo'd, but those people won't be checking the thread. If you leave in the spoiler, halfway through the season some attention-starved idiot will rush in and post details about the storyline that really will spoil it for everyone else, and then they'll point to the subject and say "but I thought it was OK!"

Thanks for the post. I had no idea that the first five episodes were "available" until you mentioned it. It's going to be a great Day 6.

Good...christ...
I have watched this show from day one, and they always have been able to put me on the edge of my seat just about every episode...and I have never known another show that just throws you right into things but holy crap...the first four hours of this show have been some of the best I have seen. I just hope this season can live up to the bar that the premiere set. Great stuff.

I also have watched every episode since Day 1 (except for the last hour of that season. Yeah yeah I didn't see the finale). I thought these first episodes were excellent as well, although Jack seems to recover from injuries/torture faster than in previous Days.
I have heard some people say that 24 has jumped the shark with this season. I personally don't think so. Anyone agree with the shark jump? |

Man, seasons 4 & 5 weren't as sharp as the first three, but good lord...this may be the best one yet. It's *definitely* the best first 4 hours yet. Wow.
First Curtis and then the bomb?!? WOW!!! I thought Manning could be the eventual protagonist if/when Jack dies, but I guess not No show can go balls-to-the-wall like 24 and no show (or hell, no movie) will kill main characters like 24, and no show does it better. Just unreal. Anyone who missed any of the first 4 episodes, they're selling a "premiere" DVD tomorrow with the first 4 episodes on it. Totally worth it. That ending was just gut-wrenching and it ripped my freakin' heart out. Wow. 24 IS back as the best show on TV!!! |

I'm still in disbelief that they just killed Curtis. Although I wasn't that surprised by the nuke, because I sort of figured that was happening after last weeks previews for this week. |

I don't think so... I don't see how at least. Actually, I quite like how they are playing Jack this season. Very realistic given what you would expect to eventually happen to a guy like him.
