Anyone remember playing this freeware basketball game?

I think it appeared around the late 80s/early 90s. It was just a simple pop-a-shot type game from a first person perspective. You saw your hands and a basket. Along the height and width of the backboard were moving sliders that you tried to center by pressing the space key. If centered it was a swish.

The best thing about the game was the running commentary by Dick Vitale. "He's two for two." "He's on fire!" "Awesome baby!" "What a brick!"

Hearing Dickie V could totally blow your concentration...

I've searched off and on for a while but never found it again. I'm sure someone has a copy of it somewhere. Of course, it might not be as cool as I remember it if I saw it again. Age can do that to you...

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I remember this game!!!!!!!! I thought I was the only one who has ever played it!! Wasn't it sold on some of those Shareware floppy disks? I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere... along with Comander Keen, and Jazz Jackrabbit.

I keep getting a "divide error" in DOS whenever I run it. I think it has had its day...

Screw that. Lakers v Celtics for DOS, all the way. That game was really good for when it was made!

I remember that 3-point game ... I mean, c'mon, how can you forget after listening to Vitale scream through your computer speakers all the time?
