With the Transfers we have 5 offers to give out this year

This is the squad that I expect to be right there for the title. 6 blue guys, 7-9 being green and they can all play. They have experience, lack some size, but our shooting makes up for that. Here to hoping Tuggy bear can do some damage this year

We finish up the year with some blemishes, but none that were really worry worthy.

We finish up 29-2 and 16-2 in conf good enough for first place.

We loose to Georgetown in the 2nd round of the conf tourney and because of that get a number 2 seed in the ncaa tourney. This is where the stuff is going to count

First round is against 15 seed marist.

We handle them easily

Next up is 10 seed UL Layfayette. We should be able to dust them off the shoulders as well.

and we do.

Sweet 16 is up where we get matched up against #3 seed Mississippi State. They have respectable squad by a few green guys shouldn't be able to compete with us this year.

But they do and NOVA falls in a very disappointing season 68-61.
We shoot a terrible 32% which is our downfall. We ranked 20% in field goal percentage this year and finished 1st in 3 point% at a whopping 48%. For this game we went 6-20 from beyond the arc for 30%

Our best weapon fails us. ohhhh well

Tuggy won coach of the year again

Our C- Greg Trammel was drafted #1 overall
Our PF- Greg Jones was drafted #23 overall
Our PG- Jose Schrimiester was drafted #17 overall

That picks kinda make this past seasons terrible run go down even harder.

Tuggy Lands the 2nd best class in the nation.

He got the 44th, 12th, 91st, 11th, and 14th rated guys respectfully.

Chris Avery leaves and the head job at Mercer which leaves a job opening up for us as the Scouting Coordinator.

It just so happens that Tuggy knows somebody that is looking for some work after spending 2 years in the NBA and not really wanting to go overseas to play ball.

It is with great pleasure that Tuggy Sr offers his son Tuggy Jr a spot on his staff.

He is quoted as saying I didn't get to see a ton of his career at penn state. Now I get to help him start off his coaching career on the right path under me. It should be a good time, and ill get to make up for some of the times I wasn't able to be there.

We have 4 offers to hand out this year

Are squad looks surprisingly strong this year and Tuggy wasn't expecting that. Hopefully we can compete for the sweet 16 again.

We finish up the season 27-4 and 16-2 in conf, good enough for first place.

St. Johns then beats us in the conf first round which has typically been par for the course sands the past few years here.

We enter the Tourney as the #3 seed and match up against praire view a&m

We blow by them and next up is the 11 seed Fordham, and they shock the word. Fordham sends Tuggy home early this year 81-72.

We let their point guard go off for 32 big points. Clearly we decided to not play any D.

Another year in the books and another sad ending

All 4 seniors were drafted. This song sound familiar yet? They went 8th, 23rd, 24th, and 29th. Talented bunch

We land the 4th best class in the nation with guys being ranked 18th, 15th, 23rd and 24th. They should be a pretty good class

Another coach leaves to take over at Iona. They seem to be leaving pretty regulary now, which is a nice compliment to what has been happening here.

3 offers to hand out this year. We are ranked 10th in the polls but have some significant drop off over the past 3 years in talent. If we made it to the sweet 16 that would be an amazing year here.

Just too many transfers lately, and not brining in the top guys like we did when we first got here.

we finish up the year 24-6 and 12-6 in conf. That was good for 2nd place surprisingly. DePaul beats us in the conf finals and we enter the tourney as the number 3 seed and play IUPUI in the first round.

We beat them albeit, only by 4. So this will prob be another quick exit from the tourney for us again.

Up next is USC as the 6th seed. I honestly like their chances here. However, we pull it out and beat them by 2. We had a very balanced attack and 5 guys scored in double figures.

Up next is 10 seed UCF. They have lucked out somehow and their roster just stinks. If we lose to them Tuggy will just hang it up after the loss.

lol we beat them by 39. The basketball gods are speaking here I think

Up next is number 9 seed Boston College. They beat #1 seed Indiana by 1 in the 2nd round and then Rhode Island by 15 in the sweet 16.

This actually should be a good game, because neither of us should be here

lol we beat them by 10.

Boy of boy this is the worst team tuggy has had in three years and have made it back to the final 4.

We take on Kentucky who is the 2 seed. Not expecting to win this game either, but am impressed with the way we have been playing.

and we shock the world by beating them by 3.....

This is pretty cool.

lol we went 16-40 from beyond the arc in that game. that's pretty darn nutty there

In the title game we face off against conf rival DePaul. DePaul is back in the title game this year after losing to Florida by 2 in last years game.

This is their 3rd title game in 7 years. They have established themselves as a major player, unlike their real life counterparts.

Like usual we shoot the hell out of the ball, 1st in both FG% and 3-pt%

DePaul is 2nd or 3rd nationally in 7 categories. They can flat out play some ball.

Lets see what happens.

DePaul wins 90-88. We out played them in just about every category except turnovers. They had 10 and we had 15. Where we lost the game was on the free throw line. We ended up going 24-40 and that cant happen if you want to win games, let alone title games.

Tuggy now mulls over his future

After thinking about his future long and hard, tuggy comes to the conclusion that it is best for Nova if he steps away. He might have had 1 or 2 years left, but after this past recruiting class, he decided now was in the best interest of the program to step away.

He finishes up his career ranked 7th all time in wins, and 37th all time in loses.

He doesn't rank in any other category in the all time coaching ranks.

He does have a title and in the end had an ok career. He wasn't the best or the worst, but an average coach that landed in a few good spots and took advantage of the situation.

He leaves Nova in decent shape, but not as good as when he took over the program

So that leaves Tuggy Jr as the lead scout with 2 years of assistant experience.

I am going to take over Tuggy Jr, and instead of having the game make all the choices I will actually be playing this time. I want to see how different the careers could be from dad to son, and If I can end up being with Sr. did.

I'm leaving tuggy Jr. as an assistant until he gets offered up a head job, so his attributes will be cpu controlled until I take over a program

This first year with only 2 years under his belt Murrary State offers him the head coaching position. Their prestige is only 9 and by far the worst in the Ohio Valley.

I pass. I hit head coach round in the game and

Bethane Cookman also offers up their position. I like that they are in florida for recruiting purposes, but their roster blows, and they are only 4 points away from being he worst in their conf prestige wise at 21. I pass again.

Maryland Eastern shore offers up their job, and once again I pass.

This year, not the right situations and I am going back into the coaching pool as an assistant.

I don't land any job this year and therefore my gamble didn't work out.

Tuggy Jr. will not coach this season anywhere

Nova went 30-9 last season with their new coach and lost in the final 4. Not bad. Wish he would have kept Tuggy Jr. on as the lead scout, but those are the breaks I guess.

The following year is different, and the first school to offer this year is he first job I take.

Hawaii hires Bob Tuggs Jr. at age 29 to be their next head coach

The coaching staff is interesting. I'm going to leave it most of them and see what happens.

My scout is terrible, and I know I can get a better one for 30k which I do.

Ive never played this game with the head coach maxed in scouting, ive always started maxed in recruiting so this will be different for me

We were terrible this year going 5-24. We had no bench as all 5 starters averaged over 30 mins and only 1 bench player averaged more than 10 mins. Need to be able to get some decent recruits in here asap

because we did so terrible, we lost 8 grand from the budget which is huge for us. Because of that we needed to fire everybody on staff that was making for than 30 k.

So we now have a staff that is cheap, because we have no money. Should be fun trying to sign 4 guys with a 19k recruiting budget

I actually think we are going to be good this year. Ok ok maybe not good, but a hell of a lot better than last year.

Recruiting on the other hand is gonna suck. I forgot how much money you need at Hawaii and we just simply don't have it. So this should be a fun or a terrible challenge

We finished up the season 17-15 and 9-7 in conf. We won 2 games in the conf tourney, even upsetting the number 1 seed, however fell in the championship game.

Recruiting was bad.....

We land the 147th best class in the nation. Not bad for three two star guys and 1 three star guys.

They certainly aren't going to make us win a conf title though. but I can see all 4 of them eventually getting playing time, and getting a bench is the first thing we need to address.

The 2nd year we end up going 10-20 and 6-20 in the conf. We lost the first round of the conf tourney but we landed 5 recruits, so hopefully things will start to look up here shortly.

We landed the 37th best class in the nation which was good enough for 2nd in the Big West.

all 4 freshman come in with green potential. Put that was 2 guys last year that are green potential and Hawaii might have a decent future here

My redshirt freshman James Willison looks to be one of the most athletic guys I might have ever had playing this game.

He will be coming off the bench this year at the 8th spot playing SG/SF

I'm looking forward to seeing how his progress goes.

I think we will be ok this year. I am hoping we are able to challenge for the conf title. We have 3 green guys, and a few guys that are more athletic for their positions than they should be normally. Should be an interesting year for us.

We finish up 8-22 and 6-10 in the conf. We were right there till our last 4 games which of course we lost. so we were hanging with everybody in the conf for a bit.

We landed the 140th class this year. Only 2 recruits coming in. Still liking how things are shaping up here

We look ok again. I am hoping we take the next step forward within our conf. Our guys are getting better, and we are getting deeper, but I need some funds to upgrade our coaching staff if we are going to get a heck of a lot better.

Winning solves that issue, and we haven't done that yet. Hoping that next step coming this year.

We finished up the year 14-14 and 10-6 in conf. That was good enough for 4th place, but I was happy with the improvement of the record. Want to keep inching up there and getting better.

We win the first round of our conf tourney but lose the 2nd game.

We pull in the 146th class this year. Now the everybody on the roster is mine, I need to be able to develop them, and we haven't done a good job of that so far

Well that didn't work out the way I was hoping.

We end up going 12-17 and 8-8 in conf which put us in 4th again.

Surprisingly though, we get an un-real break in the conf tourney. Every team we played the upset occurred the game before so we ran through the conf tourney and right into the NCAA tourney. That was fun to see.

Are we a tourney team. Nope. Not even close, but I will take it on the road to improvement.

As I suspected we play the play in game for the 16 seed. We play app state who went 17-14 this year.

not sure how this one will turn out. It looks like we are similar with the talent on our teams.

They end up beating us by 12 in a disappointing game. I was hopeful that we would pull it out, however I def expected a closer game that what it turned out to be.

We get a budget increase, a facility increase and Mr. Tuggs Jr gets a coaching upgrade. I will say it was a good season!

and our recruiting class was ranked 107 this year.

I used the extra budget to upgrade my coaching assistant. We have a guy that is 50 and 52 which is a huge upgrade to what I have had here. Hopefully that helps the guys im bringing in develop more and faster.

Mr. Tuggs upgrades his recruiting skills and that now sits at a whooping 26

We should be tough this year. We have 6 green guys and I think we are balanced. Heck we have 2 post starters who's inside game is 96 and 97. We should really take the conf this year. Will be a huge disappointment if we don't.

We finish up the year at 16-14 and 9-7 in conf which was good for 2nd place.

Wow we roll through the first 2 conf games and come up against the number 1 team in the conf championship game.

You cant make this stuff up.

Going to the tourney 2 times in a row. Dancing in Hawaii baby!!!!

We take on number 7 seed Oklahoma. I think we can hang, hopefully.

I hit sim and well not so much lol. We get blown out by 19. We can hit anything and shoot 32% while the Sooners shoot 49%. So that is the story of the game there.

Overall a real nice season for us, and a heck of a senior class that got us there

We land the 43rd best class in the nation, although as I look at them, I cant figure out how that is. They have the number rankings, but their ratings aren't what I wanted them to be so there is that.
