Rutgers beats Louisville 38-22. I let them stay in the game far too long. I threw 4 picks, 3 in the 2nd quarter. Louisville had some pretty fast defenders (at least, faster than most of my receivers) and made up a step or two as the ball was in the air. I should have had at least 4 picks myself, but my defenders dropped all but one easy pick.
I ran the ball very well, though. In the 2nd half, I just kept giving it to my RBs and they ran all over the Louisville defense. |

Probably play a tougher schedule. The BCS formula has more to do with quality opponents than margin of victory, I think. Either way, I think they said they are fiddling with the polls in the 2010 version as it does not work like it should. Last edited by Grammaticus : 05-10-2009 at 10:28 AM. |

Beat #10 Florida and got a soft commit from my highest priority recruit...but with a visit to USC next week and them being #2 on his list, I don't have a good feeling.

52-10 win over Vandy and we get our first commit, a 4* QB that really we had no competition on all season and finally signed with us.
We're lined up for the Gator Bowl against Notre Dame again - yippee. I'm curious to see how I get hurt in guys leaving for the draft. As I've mentioned elsewhere I have two VERY good SS's. Two of my only 3 players in the 90's (one Senior WR is 91). At one point in the season they were both 92 OVR. One of them I've had playing dime CB all season. Well, the starting SS is now a 92 still but the dime CB is 95. They're both RS Sophomores. The 95 guy clearly isn't getting all that great of stats since he's not seeing the field much, so I wonder if he leaves anyways or if I could have a superstud at SS since this guy isn't getting a lot of PT. I know what I'm hoping for there .
