Good luck guys! Even though Plantana kicked us out of the playoffs (meanies!) it would still be fun to see them take Chief out of the running!

Actually, I have noted you usually either pick or root against me, so I just inwardly shrugged at that and went to do something else.

If Plantana beats out Chief, I would like Alan to go on record and say publicly that it is NOT a jinx to have Teach root for your team!

The 2039 FOOL-X Classic is set!

The Havana Banana Sluggers vs the New york legends!

In the last 25 seasons, the Republic League has dominated the Continental League winning the title 19 times to the CL's 6. Of those 6 CL titles however, 3 belong to Havana.

Havana returns to the Classic for the 6th time this decade and are in an effort to win the 6th title in their franchise's history.

They will have to face off against the winning-est franchise in FOOL-X history, the New York legends. The Legends last made the Classic 8 seasons ago, when they collected their 11th title.

Well at least I gave you a run there Chief.

Grats on the championship. We had some great games in our stretch but I honestly didnt think my pitching would hold up and it didnt. We did good but the better team definitely pulled it out.

And there we go. Thanks, everyone, for the well wishes. If this is the end I predict it to be, it's a fitting way to go.

Havana's not going to be an empty cupboard, of course, thanks to guys like Caro, Medina, Galindo and Khan, and I still have Peppers, Laroque and Hall for at least another year each. But I am losing my best hitter and defender in Castillo, and my best pitcher in Fernandez, and I don't have the money to replace them (thanks mostly to the arb figures of Caro and Medina, really). And that doesn't even consider the other losses I will have (several).

Good luck to everyone in the offseason.
