acceptable fumble rates?
What are people's thresholds in terms of returning punt/kicks?
For example is 10% too high? How about for rbs? QBs i just assume you stick with them if they are good at passing anyways. |

I'd prefer much lower than 10%, but obvious exceptions need to be made. In the USFL, I had a player (Mitchell Wynn) with 94 regular season career fumbles (most of any non-QB in league history). However, he was a dynamic RB and KR/PR averaging more than 200 all-purpose yards per game. He also scored 161 TDs including 13 on returns. So, I learned to live with his fumble issues.
Needless to say, Mr. Wynn made watching Solevision much more exciting!!!! Last edited by Dawgfan19 : 04-25-2021 at 10:17 AM. |

Fumbles on punt returns are very common, but I think my release button because hot when that guy fumbles on a worse than 1 per 10 returns ratio.
For QBs it's the side effect of getting sacked, so it's more about sense rush and overall pass protection there to avoid them. For RBs, I'm not quite sure where I stand. I think I'm fine with 1 fumble per 250 yd from scrimmage, or 1 fumble per 50-60 carries.

PR fumbles is a hidden secret in the game...1/10 is decent but smart GMs will pay more for a guy who can cut that down to 1/5, no bar tells that I know of just gotta give them a chance or look at stats
