World of Darkness Online Roleplaying
I know a handful of us true nerds were into the pen and paper RPG's (or still are). Eons ago, I played in a few Vamp: Masquerade and/or full World of Darkness/White Wolf games on IRC. Lot of people set up channels to just hop in and play. Idiots aside, it was kinda fun.
For some reason, I got a bug up my ass to try and convert a MUD to a little area for some open-ended persistant place to play old school Vampire. Not really combat oriented, just some amusing cold-war/screw each other over/power struggle RPing. The coding part is simplistic to do. The trouble is, of course, the genre leads itself to a great deal of idiots, and I haven't the foggiest where else to try and recruit some people who'd be interested. Since we have a widdddde variety of folks here...this sound interesting/fun to anyone? |

I ran a World of Darkness MUSH back in my college days for a little while. It was set Detroit and based off the Vampire campaign we had run a few years earlier. It was a lot of fun.
That said, I have no technical expertise. At. All. Still, it could be interesting to help out with from a playing/story telling perspective.

Definitely interested. I LARPed VtM for about a year, and played table top for awhile as well.
In fact, my AIM name is because I starting playing VtM online.

The basics are complete. My intention is to nab a few people, talk things over, fill some key roles, and formally "start" things soon. |
