Go ahead and make those RFA designations here on any (1) of your upcoming free agents for this off-season.

RFA Compensation Rules:

If a team designates a player as a restricted free agent and matches an offer he receives, they give up a 1st round pick to the team that made the offer sheet. If they don't have a 1st rounder, they send the next highest pick they own for that season. Teams offering on RFAs may only receive 1 compensatory pick, regardless of how many restricted free agents they sign.

If a team declines to match an offer on a restricted free agent, they receive no compensation from the signing team.
