Songs that make you want to run through walls

I busted out some old CD's and stumbled across a blank one that was just labled Hockey '04. So I put it in and it was a bunch of songs I use to listen to before games. It was mostly crap until I got to "This Means War" by Busta Rhymes and now I really want go lace 'em up and just fuck shit up.

So what songs get you fired up?

That stupid song out now about the chicks on the flo' gettin' lo, lo, lo, lo, lo. Every time I hear it now, I want to bust through walls to destroy the music source.

Before games in college, I would listen to Y'all Aint Ready Yet by Mystikal, along with other songs that I can't remember.

Seems corny now, but our HS team used to come on to the field to Unforgiven (why? I Have no clue....)as slow as it is (by rock standards I suppose) it still gets the blood boiling.

Pantera -- Vulgar Display of Power
Metallica -- Harvester of Sorrow
Iron Maiden -- The Trooper
Black Sabbath -- Children of the Grave

Those off the top of my head but I'm sure there are countless others.

By the time the song is over, you'd probably be too tired to break through anything.

I'm not a big rap guy, but when I'm driving and "What's My Name" by DMX comes on it pretty much guarantees I'm about to get a speeding ticket.

Good thing I haven't heard it in a long time.

I often feel the urge to run through a wall to escape the assault of rap music on my tender ears.

Seriously though, One by Metallica cranks up the adrenaline like no other song.

Any good metal or punk rock/hardcore album can boost me and it's what i use when i go out running or had a bad day. Lately i'm listening a lot to a Brazilian metal band named "Ill niņo" (they sing in English but have some Spanish phrases mixed in between, like the Spanglish spoken in Miami, not sure if they are known in USA, i think they are).

About a song...as Munstang said, Du Hast by Rammstein is a good adrenaline booster, i have seen them live and it was one of the best live shows i have ever seen. That #1 live moment for me was held by Metallica until then.

Anything by Metalica can pump me too, even the cover song "Whiskey in the jar". Old Bad Religion albumbs were great for this too, like their song Generator.

If you wanna get pumped for some hitting, you really can't beat a song which main hook goes "Let the bodies hit the floor"...

Yellow Lasers

met her at the star wars convention
did I mention, she was looking for love?
had to call her bluff, lady you don't mean how that sounded
(the thousand-pound dude in the 'no fat chicks' shirt's astounded)
thought she'd take it back, revoke, rescind, rewind, retract
ya heard me, she said, I want any man here
to descend in the cave where you conquer the fear
and I'll steer you to side of the force that you choose
somebody's man enough here -- now who?
This girl, now you have to understand,
would not look out of place on the arm of an attractive man
so the geeks in attendance got jaws on the floor, one extends his
saber but he tripped on his cloak, I stepped to the front then I spoke
I ain't spitting game, look I got a wookie hat on,
but these guys here are used to gettin' spat on
by girls, see you put em in shock.
And this ain't the right con to quote mister spock
but it's highly illogical to me. Girl looked in my eye, said is your mind free?

Cause I got something for you
it is shiny, it is clean
Come on up and I'll adore you
with my yellow laser beam

sitting in her room upstairs,
watching her wind up the buns in her hair
I declare that I'd like to be luke,
unless that's a little bit too perverted for you
I could be jaba, a jawa, an ewok, when we talk "oo ga la gee bla!"
wait -- I seen all the flicks, all the books that I read,
don't remember any character tied to the bed
but that's all right, I'ma just pretend that I'm encased in carbonite
and why that's a nice gold bikini, you make that?
shows off what you got, make no mistake that's
one fine view of chewbacca you're giving me
lower that down here, we could be living the
linguistic lifesyle of the protocol droid.
(Here comes the part where I'm not overjoyed)
Fire! She said, and before I could scream
got a steaming mouth full of yellow laser beam

Pantera's "Broken" is my favorite angry song

I wonder if we'll smile in our coffins while loved ones
Mourn the day, the absence of our faces, living, laughing,
Eyes awake. Is this too much for them to take?

Too young for ones conclusion, the lifestyle won.
Such values you taught your son. That's how.

Look at me now. I'm broken.
Inherit my life.

One day we all will die, a cliched fact of life. Force fed
To make us heed. Inbred to sponge our bleed. Every
Warning, a leaking rubber, a poison apple for mingled
Blood. Too young for ones delusion the lifestyle cost
Venereal Mother embrace the los$. That's how

Look at you now. You're broken
Inherit your life.

I started listening to them years ago. Their singer was born in Brazil, but the band was formed in New Jersey by the singer, the drummer (born in Peru) and bass player (born in NYC). I still listen to their 1st CD (Revolution Revolucion), but stopped following them after Confession came out. Didn't really like that one, but a lot of the songs on their 1st one really get the blood pumping.

This whole record gets me agitated in the best of ways, but I'm a crusty old dude with questionable taste, and I like it slow and chunky (just ask the ladies).

My first couple of thoughts have already been mentioned - The Trooper and Walk - but I'm surprised another one from my list hasn't come up yet:
Metallica's Battery
And since it seems to be the trendy thing to do ...

Many of you will know this from the first trailer for 300.

It's also in this trailer (the 2nd official one) but it starts around 1:20

I think Nine Inch Nails could run rampant in this thread . "Closer" is another song that'll make anyone run through walls. And "Head Like a Hole".

That's funny...because I was going through my iTunes and realized....shit, most of these songs should be in this thread. Closer is definitely intense.

To me though, a lot of NIN songs are intense in a different way. They pump me up in more of a "I wanna yell at the top of my lungs" way rather than a "run through shit" way.

Closer just doesn't do it for me- it's slow and draggy with Trent just sitting there feeling all giddy that he can swear a lot. Head Like a Hole, on the other hand- great "run through walls" song.
