Some Quick Sociology Paper Help
Guys, I have a sociology paper due later today. I have most of it done, but there still one thing I need. Can you guys think of a movie that shows what is considered to be the traditional american "nuclear" family and then one that shows what is considered to be a modern day family?

Well, I am using American Beauty to show the supposed traditional family is not so traditional. Now I need a feel good movie that shows the proposed nuclear family in a good light.

IMO, there is no such thing as the traditional modern family. At least no ideal. Families are quite varied now, from what I have seen, and any modern family picked out is merely a representation of that sort of family. I know that doesn't help you at all.
I'm drawing a blank on old nuclear family movies, but I know there are thousands of them. Someone will come up with a good one. Boy, I wasn't much help at all, was I? CR

I was thinking 'Pleasantville' as well. That would seem to be a good film to show the contrast between what a 'nuclear' family is perceived to be, and how one really is.
