Thanks!

I imported the file you gave me and it worked okay. So you should be good. You should still grab the file and copy over things, so you can get the new league file.

Can't wait to figure out how to do the replay thing to see these games as they happened.

These one run games have killed me this season. Split over the first four.

Go to FOOL ---> Scores & Schedule ---> then go to Calendar and go back to the September dates and look at "Watch Replay" and you can view 'em.

But not this year, because of the fact that we had to sim to get the history set right and get the expansion teams built, you won't be able to see them, because of the changes to the schedule post season. But in the future, you can always view them. We won't do anything like this again, it was a unique situation I think to a unique circumstance.

My pitching staff, especially the middle relief, has come a LONG way in the past two seasons. I'm really excited to see that they kept the games tied into those two extra inning games.

Yeah, I'll be interested to go back and see what really happened to my ballclub. I'm a little sad we didn't take it all the way, but in some ways, I'd rather have lost than to three-peat and not be able to come back and defend, so...still, a heck of a run, 5 straight RL titles and two Classic rings, nothing to be ashamed of.

New York has had this coming for a long, long time, glad to see them put it together finally. Spindola and those guys are some the best in the league.

The team, ownership, and town were so crushed they disbanded and faded into history. Works for me.

All I know is that with the disbanding of those two teams, quite a bit of talent is going to get spread out. Hopefully we get another manager for the new west coast team. Will be interesting to see what happens with an expansion draft too.

I agree. I was looking at my roster and trying to figure out who I was gonna protect. 25 is damn hard.

Ok, I'm cutting the two clubs now, adding the expansion teams and getting it setup for the expansion draft. You'll be able to set your protection lists in this file that's going up.

Yeah, this was one of the reasons I was against the expansion earlier.. Was a bit late springing it on us, so caught us offguard a bit. If I had known about it, I would have planned a bit differently instead of spreading myself out across a good 30-40 players I would have focused on less players with more talent

I'd still rather keep St.Louis in the league myself, but that is me, I like a challenge!

If it's any consolation, 1) the computer is doing the drafting with one of the teams and 2) I wanted to even the playing field a bit and 3) the protection list is 30 players, not 25.

Figured this was a way to keep things interesting, without disrupting the pace too much.

Yes sir. I'll upload a file in a bit here that'll allow you to set your protection lists. FA will come after. I wanted to do them at the same time, but..it won't be possible really. So we'll do the expansion draft after tomorrow's exports, then we'll sim to the start of free agency with tomorrow night's file.

Well I am hoping the computer wisely takes some salary off of my hands that I inherited with the team originally. If they do that for me, then I'll forgive you!

Oh, the other thing about expansion drafts to keep in mind, is that often times..teams will draft players that other teams have, then established teams will try to make deals with them to pry said established players off their hands. Soo..keep that in mind.

Is losing my triple A team and all it's players my punishment for beating St. Louis in the FOOL Classic, DC?

I'm...a tiny bit bummed over this occurance. I do not have a triple A team at all anymore. I noticed this when I went to do my protection lists and noticed that...hmmm...I can't protect anyone from triple a...wait...I don't have a triple a team.

Will this mean that I have to re-do my protection list that I exported earlier, or will that still work ok?

Huh, that's weird, Tell.

Hey, DC, these protection lists, is anyone automatically protected (like new prospects or whatever)? Just wondering if I need to be looking at the major league roster alone (and guys good enough to play there) if I need to be looking at my entire organization?

Yeah, I think so. I need to figure out how I managed to screw up so bad. I deleted his team completely. So yeah, I'll have to send up another file that just had the fixes and stuff to the organizations. Ugh. I made a big mess of things. Seems I got confused about the alignments and assumed things were setup consistently and they weren't. Sorry gang.

Okay, I am REALLY confused. I am showing one of my top MR prospects in Pedro Castillo out there in the FA pool. I signed him last year for the $190K deal. Now, I know we hashed out that that contract would remain, but I thought I still had his rights after that (even if it still cost me $190K every year). Why is he out there? And if he is out there, why didn't he show up on any of my Pending FA lists leading up to now?

OOOOHHH S***! I get it. Same thing happened to me as Tell. My AAA team is gone-o. And every player on Plano is now apparently a FA! This is obviously a categorical disaster. I hope DC can fix this. What a weird error.
