I went with Texas, I like the overall balance of his team. They can hit and pitch.

I went with Valdosta because I think they will have a great home-field advantage with the most pitcher friendly park in the league.

I voted for Texas because their GM is [Zoolander]really, really, ridiculously good-looking.[/Zoolander]

I think that even though I wrote Valdosta, that honestly, Texas or a surprise team all together will win the league this year. I think this is the most wide open the league has EVER been.

I think people are picking Valdosta because I finished second last year so with the void of no St.Louis I'm default pick.
In an non-objective point of view, I think alot of the other teams in the RL improved much more than I did for just this year and the near future, wheras I've been building a team that I think can compete for 10 years. My major league team is still talented enough that it should be able to compete, but I wouldn't be suprised to finish 3rd or 4th even. This past offseason was a major dissapointment for me as I spent a ton of money (20mil+) on two guys who turned me down for Minor league contracts.. and with the short number of sims in the offseason if you throw everything at two people and they don't bite your offseason is ruined. |
