Jijón Captures 2093 Kien-lung Teng Award
Sunday, November 8th, 2093: It was a lot of headlines and highlights for London first baseman Ernesto Jijón in his first season in the Continental League. It was annonced today that the 26-year-old was voted the top newcomer and had earned the Kien-lung Teng Award.

Ernesto Jijón collected 139 hits, 20 home runs, 70 RBIs, 36 walks and 62 runs scored. He hit .285 and had a .336 on-base percentage.


Walters Is RL's Top-Rated Rookie
Sunday, November 8th, 2093: Rookies are supposed to be seen, but not heard. But that wasn't the case with New York's Palmer Walters. He spoke up loudly and often this season on his way to winning the Republic League Kien-lung Teng Award for 2093.

To be accurate, the 24-year-old first baseman let his performance do the talking. In his debut season Walters piled up some good stats, hitting .303, driving in 117 runs and scoring 107 times, while playing in 135 games. The Legends newcomer also had 36 doubles, 6 triples and 37 home runs.

Hops Star Receives Mauro Morales Award
Tuesday, November 10th, 2093: The Mauro Morales Award for 2093 has been presented and the Continental League winner is Juan Jose Díaz of St Louis.

"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Díaz. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Hops star told reporters.

Díaz excelled with an impressive 15-8 record in 38 starts. In 227 innings he yielded 178 hits and 67 walks, while striking out 164 and compiling a fine 2.89 ERA.


Delgado Takes RL Mauro Morales Award
Tuesday, November 10th, 2093: Bartolo Delgado of the New York Legends has been selected the premier pitcher in the Republic League and will receive the Mauro Morales Award for 2093.

The top votegetter completed the year with a 23-7 record. He started 38 times, threw 243 innings, chalked up 225 strikeouts and 53 walks, limited hitters to a .250 batting average and posted an impressive 3.26 ERA.

Flores Rewarded with 2093 CL Bartolo Liriano Award
Wednesday, November 11th, 2093: It's been a year of triumph for veteran Raúl Flores of the Oshawa Mullets as he hit his way to the 2093 Continental League Bartolo Liriano Award.

The 34-year-old veteran compiled a .342 average and .448 on-base percentage by putting together 207 hits, 49 doubles, 4 triples, 11 home runs and 120 walks. He also scored 102 times and drove in 85 runs.


2093 RL #1 Hitter is New York's Walters
Wednesday, November 11th, 2093: Palmer Walters of the New York Legends proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Republic League Bartolo Liriano Award.

Walters hit for a .303 average while collecting 142 hits, 36 doubles, 6 triples, 37 home runs, 117 RBIs and scoring 107 times.
