CL Best Fielder Awards Winners Announced
Friday, November 18th, 2157: Who are the Best Fielder Awards winners? They are the guys that steal outs. They make spectacular plays, but they also consistently make the routine plays. This year in the Continental League these defensive stalwarts made a name for themselves with their gloves:

Friday, November 18th, 2157: "Hit 'em where they ain't" is a great hitting philosophy, but it doesn't always work when a fielder can seemingly appear out of nowhere to make the play. These magicians are often taken for granted as the season grinds along, but today they take center stage. The Republic League Best Fielder Awards selections for 2157 are:

Continental League Selects Best Rookie
Saturday, November 19th, 2157: Jorge Hernández put together some impressive numbers for Noblesville to garner enough votes for the Continental League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.

The Millers right fielder took the honor by hitting .320 in 151 games this season and finishing with 139 hits, 33 home runs, 98 RBIs and 69 runs scored.


Republic League Names Premier Rookie
Saturday, November 19th, 2157: The top rookie in the Republic League was Hammersmith center fielder Lyle Larson. He impressed voters so much that they named him the 2157 Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award recipient.

Larson put up some pretty fair numbers, including a .281 batting average and .377 on-base percentage, while racking up 25 home runs, 82 RBIs and 109 runs scored.

CL Presents Outstanding Pitcher Award
Monday, November 21st, 2157: The Gabriel Prado Award for 2157 has been presented and the Continental League winner is Gilbert Gingras of Baltimore.

"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Gingras. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Gothams star told reporters.

Gingras excelled with an impressive 22-4 record in 33 starts. In 219 innings he yielded 175 hits and 51 walks, while striking out 184 and compiling a fine 1.93 ERA.


RL Gabriel Prado Award Winner Announced
Monday, November 21st, 2157: 24-year-old George Flynn of the Toronto Marlboros put together a good year in 2157 for such a young player. Flynn was named today as the winner of the Republic League Gabriel Prado Award.

Flynn crafted an impressive 17-7 record and a 3.20 ERA. In 214 innings he allowed 204 hits, struck out 175, and walked 61.

CL's Premier Hitter, McCromley of Halifax
Tuesday, November 22nd, 2157: It's been a year of triumph for veteran Bill McCromley of the Halifax Winter Wolves as he hit his way to the 2157 Continental League Hideaki Tanaka Award.

The 29-year-old veteran compiled a .325 average and .427 on-base percentage by putting together 191 hits, 37 doubles, 5 triples, 35 home runs and 98 walks. He also scored 111 times and drove in 113 runs.


2157 #1 Batter Chosen By RL
Tuesday, November 22nd, 2157: Rebels right fielder Craig Ray was at the top of the heap in the Republic League this season and today he nabbed the Hideaki Tanaka Award.

In 2157 he rang up 203 hits, 50 doubles, 3 triples, 37 home runs, 125 RBIs and 118 runs scored. All those numbers helped him to build his .320 batting average and .390 on-base percentage.
