I'd fear for my life too. What's wrong with that?

Depends.. when you take it in context of she's served her full sentence and is about to be released from prison, and having already been subjected to death threats it doesn't provoke much of any reaction from me, she's just stating a feeling, one that I think is quite fair for her to have.
Don't get me wrong what she did was horrendous, but the Canadian justice system determined that her plea to manslaughter was appropriate for her involvement/mental state during the crimes. Why shouldn't she have the right to live without fear? Last edited by ScottVib : 07-03-2005 at 01:39 PM. |

I wonder if Kristen and Leslie ever feared for their lives.

I hope she lives with that fear for the rest of her life.....however long that will be.

This is kind of what I was getting after. I can understand her being afraid for her life, but given the circumstances, I find it incredibly hard to have any sympathy for her. She participated in the rapes and murders of two girls, apparently without giving anything to whether THEY were afraid, but because she's "served her time," "paid her debt to society," however you want to phrase it, suddenly she's supposed to have an expectation of security and happiness for the rest of her natural life. Her victims, though, they're different. |

Can a murderer/rapist be called hot?
