I can not remember a time when Jackal got first day votes[it probably happened last game or some recent time since I am doing this ] so my random day one vote goes there at least until 12ish when I return from classes.

Vote Jackal

autonomous collective here - or plain villager, whatever you want to call it. Good to be playing again - it's been a while.

Crimson Fox (aka Ralph the Wonder Llama)

There is only one true animal in these parts. And it is a Moose. Not a Lllama.
Ralph must be purged!

(edited to remove bold, since the proper vote is below - and okay, it was 6 minutes, not 5. Sue me, I haven't had coffee yet)

Fair warning: We're rolling out a big piece of programming today at work, and we have the brass in town. I have no idea what my availability is going to be.

Here is some initial speculation on what we might be facing in this game. I think with 13 players 3 wolves are too many, so likely 2 wolves plus both neutrals.

Of course with Day 1, any vote is pure speculation especially 12 hours before the deadline. Therefore, I will vote before voting even thought it will still be a pure guess later.

All right, with this few players I imagine that there aren't a lot of the neutral characters, characters who don't count for win conditions in one direction or another. With King Arthur, I would bet we have the Black Knight, the Knight who Says Ni, and probably the Killer Bunny just for fun. Herbert and Lancelot go together, as does Galahad, Zoot, Dingo and Lancelot (to some extent). So I would guess the former grouping rather than the latter.

Though with the numbers the way they are, I could see 3 wolves, but including the one who doesn't count as a wolf (Dingo). Or 2 wolves but one or two of the neutrals to cut down on villager numbers.

I am Sir Chief Rum of Uncommon Stench.

Or a peasant of the autonomous collective. You can call me Stench for short.

Why do you think the former and not the latter? The second group has 1 Good, 1 Bad and 1 Neutral which would be balanced.

That's true, it is a balanced group. I was just thinking that with the lower end of numbers in the game, JAG is less likely to pick a clump of roles that all have to go together. He's going to have King Arthur, if he picks a clump like that he's much more limited in any other roles he can include. He's still got to have some regular wolves, and a seer, etc. Just seemed the less likely of the two.

Did I miss something in the rules, wasn't there a convert somewhere? If there is then i would guess 2 wolves, the convert, and 1 neutral

If I was mistaking (don't have time to check right now) then I would guess 3 wolves and 1 neutral. I doubt the neutrals would have any bearing on the number of wolves

Re-reading tie criteria, question to JAG.

If King Arthur breaks the tie (per tie rules, not per duke power) is he revealed?

I am just an uncommonly stinky peasant, so votes for me are automatically suspicious to me.

Plus, one of my voters has the same number of votes as me. So that makes this decision easy for now.

I'm looking to be stranded out there on Bhlloy. I'll move to one of the guys with two votes. I wouldn't normally pick Chief Day 1 but it seems any of the other moves will simply invite self-defense moves, which isn't hte kind of movement that's useful to see.

unvote bhlloy
