Hmm, nevermind. We are replacing our villagers with villagers (most likely). So the game won't be over by the end of day 2.

You all go to bed hoping that the lynching is the only death the town will see tonight, but an uneasy feeling in your stomachs makes you realize that it’s probably a long shot. As you wake up you and gather to take a head count your worst fears are realized one of you is missing, Tyrith. A few of you quickly head to his house, but he’s not there a quick check around town and you find his body mauled outside the town bank. It seems he was locking up after a long night and was surprised by a werewolf. The look of horror is still in his eyes as you lay him to rest.

What has me confused is how the moderator will get 4 wolves run thru this game. If we started 5-2, the game could be over by the end of day 2.

We started off 14-4, its now 12-4

Of course, if I understand the rules correctly, we might have to kill one of the 12 in order to get one of the four. Right? I mean if somebody is currently a villager, but has a secondary role as a wolf we'd have to kill them twice in order to win? Or am I missing something? It seems rather macabre to have to kill somebody we think is good in order to possibly kill them as a bad guy so I'm hoping there is a flaw in my analysis.

As for my vote, at the time only Barkeep and Fouts had votes. Nothing much was going on, so again, I tried to push things along by casting a vote for one of them. I didn't want to vote for Fouts because I felt bad for him dying on the first day the past couple of games. In retrospect, I wish I would have gone with Fouts over Barkeep, but I had no idea that Barkeep was the seer.

I'm not so quick to dismiss it. What better way for a shrewd player to say "Come and eat me" and then say, "If I was really a wolf, would I be so obvious?" If I was evil, this is how I would play it. Do something outrageous and then claim that I would have to be stupid to do something as obvious as that.

I'll buy this explanation, since you're a newer player. I will just say, however, that you could have easily gone for a third option. Once you cast a second vote for me it becomes a two dog race.

OK, here is how I see things.

Barkeep- seer- villegar
Tyrith- bank owner- villegar
Lathum- Villegar

with only 7 in the game that leave

Jonathan- Cast second barkeep vote
Fouts- Voted barkeep out of self preservation
Blade- Forced into casting deciding vote on barkeep
ntndeacon- casts the second vote on fouts forcing barkeep and fouts to vote for each other leaving blade in the dark.

Right now Jonathan and NTN stand out based on their voting.

I am working from home today so i'll be around to discuss.

Well, heck. I keep dying in small game. It's getting annoying. I suspect the reason why sndvls is running this game is that he got tired of being killed in small game, too.

Yeah, I can buy the ntn and Jonathan arguments, although even the wolves don't know anything right now....so I dunno.

well that and I always thought it sucked to die day one and not really participate so this way everyone still gets to be around after a day

Here was my idea of what i expected.

We have 2 sets of roles, the one everyone started with and the one everyone gets after they die once. Correctly or not i was assuming we had 2 wolves in the first 7 roles, and 2 in the second 7. As for having to lynch a villager to get their, its possible. But, i think the wolves will help us with that at night.

It seems that often times the worst thing a player can do in WW is make a typo. Typos will get people distrusted, slaughtered, and used as a pawn by the bad guys. We should all probably review our posts before we make them...but I won't, and what's the fun in that? :P

Well this was an easy day to catch up on. I'm thinking the badnwagon on NTN is interesting. With the wolves not knowing each other, it creates a different voting incentive. I will have to go back and really scrutinize NTN's posts to see if I think the 4 easy votes are justified.

After rereading the thread I'm torn. I think that the best case can be made for NTN being a wolf. But bandwagons, even when wolves don't know each other make me uneasy. IN the end though I'm about being right, so...

since we have already killed the seer . I can say this without it hurting us more. It might not be a bad idea to kill everyone once. get the hidden roles out there in play. and Asumming that Jonathan is correct, we kill 2 wolves in the process.

I am only the baker. I will say that my vote did not have to condemn one or the other to the lynch yesterday. it was 2-2 for Barkeep and Fouts with 3 left to go. There was plenty of time to go after another person.
As my opinion on the wolves go, One of the things that have gotten me in trouble in the past was not coming up with things helpful to the side of good. one of the very things that is being used to damn me this time.

Two things here...again with your calling to be night killed which worries me...

2nd, why reveal something like this. You arent in any danger, so strongly hinting at this role is very odd to me...

Just like on day one a mob forms. Today, however, it's a very overwhelming
majority that question ntndeacon. He pleads his case, but it seems it is just
too late. The rope is placed around his neck and he is strung up to the tree
just as he gasps his last breath he says again, "I'm the baker," pleading for
his life. His body goes limp and you begin to wonder if you made another
mistake. You search his body and discover some baking flower in the cuffs
of his pants, seems he was telling the truth he was Richard Glover the baker.

No, we werent told about one...but we had a seer, and we have 14 role...chances are we have one(maybe not in the first 7 though). Its not so much hes not claiming bodyguard as im not sure why sndvls would give a title like that unless it was for the bodyguard. Barkeep was a newspaper reporter(which has been used for seer before), and lathum says he is a retired security guard(also used before in past games for BG) but says he is not the bg
