Love the premise
Will wait and see on the execution Would have liked it better with more of an indy feel to it, methinks. |

Looks interesting. I hope they don't continue to give away the story in future trailers though. I saw the initial teaser to this and it showed nothing about the aliens and I was hooked.

Yeah, that trailer was way to revealing ...
The novella itīs based on is pretty great btw, though it looks like not a lot has made it other than the basic premise. But thatīs not bad in itself, because the novella basically would make for a 20 minute (very philosophical) short at best Amy Adams is hit-or-miss for me, but everything else looks promising ... Just look at the last few films those people made. The Director did Sicario (bloody amazing crime thriller) and a ton of other stuff thatīs basically all great to super great. The cinematographer did A Most Violent Year as well as Selma. Also has Forrest Whitaker, who has a weird amount of shit and/or straight to DVD films since his amazing turn in Last King of Scotland that he won an Oscar for. I could care less about "indy feel" btw. Iīm pretty much over scifi-related films that are good but could be awesome if only they had some real money. And while of course lots of big money Scifi films suck: if you get a great script/material and get a great director and have people in charge that care, iīd rather it be made with money behind.
