Brooklyn Third Baseman Gets CL Best Rookie Award
Thursday, November 14th, 2154: This year's outstanding rookie has been chosen and the honor goes to Brooklyn third baseman Harvey Daniels. He received the 2154 Continental League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award for his consistent play and solid numbers.

He finished the regular season with a .316 batting average, 27 doubles, 3 triples and 29 home runs. The 24-year-old Daniels also had 74 RBIs and scored 90 times.


Premier Rookie Picked By RL--Ray Selected
Thursday, November 14th, 2154: Chico's left fielder Craig Ray is the latest winner of the Republic League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.

During his first year in the league, the 22-year-old Ray hit .311 with 152 hits, 14 home runs, 67 RBIs and 85 runs scored. He also walked 50 times and put up a .383 on-base percentage.

Oprel of Noblesville Named Best Pitcher
Saturday, November 16th, 2154: The Noblesville Millers have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making.
It's Reginald Oprel, this year's Continental League Gabriel Prado Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.

Oprel compiled a 20-3 record in 32 starts, tallied 215 strikeouts in 220 innings and recorded a 2.41 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .221 batting average against him.


RL Names Gabriel Prado Award Winner
Saturday, November 16th, 2154: In the twilight of his career, Teun Victorie has no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. The 35-year-old Bruins starter hoisted up the Republic League Gabriel Prado Award earlier today, silencing critics who thought it was time for the "old man" to retire.

Victorie crafted an ERA of 2.50 as he won 20 games, dropped 7, fanned 186 and gave up 33 walks in 237.2 innings of work.

Continental League Names Best Hitter
Sunday, November 17th, 2154: Bill McCromley has been around Front Office Offseason League enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2154 season, he's taking home the Hideaki Tanaka Award in the Continental League.

The Baltimore left fielder put up a batting average of .362 with 42 doubles, 5 triples, 39 home runs and 129 RBIs.


Great Year Gets Jones RL Hideaki Tanaka Award
Sunday, November 17th, 2154: Royce Jones of the Los Angeles Bruins proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Republic League Hideaki Tanaka Award.

Jones hit for a .349 average while collecting 213 hits, 37 doubles, 3 triples, 25 home runs, 121 RBIs and scoring 97 times.
