dola

It may have sold out. I used to be able to get to the checkout page. But after posting my last post it deletes the item from my cart when I try to check out.

Oh well, better luck next year.

If you're looking for a top end Roku, Amazon has the Roku Ultra for $49. I grabbed a couple since I just switched from cable to YouTube TV.

I've never used google express but they have 20% off using a code so XBOX 1X, PUBG and RDR2 comes down to $358.39 with no tax or shipping fees.

Google Express

Make sure to put in your coupon code in step 4 to get the 20% off.

Knocks a pokemon game + switch down to 287 I think

Google Express

That's a great deal. I have one and a Roku Premier Plus (walmart version). Very much like them both.

Ran out this morning at about 9:30. Black Friday is pretty much a bust for brick-and-mortar stores, hardly any traffic. Went to a couple strip malls, Best Buy, Walmart and the busiest parking lot was Kohl's at half-full.

Guess to be expected and sure hope their on-line traffic is a lot better.

Found my BR sales. Could have ordered them from Amazon but wife was going to run out anyway.

One note about Walmart - they did not change prices on their BR, it was still at regular prices. Found a flyer along just in case the I didn't get the sale price during check-out. Best Buy did a much better job.

Went to the mall today to do Santa pictures. We had reservations a and it was super smooth but man getting in and out was a pain. I also had my first Black Friday conflict with some asshole in the parking lot

I saw this available this morning and subscribed too. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I'd pay that for a year of Rick and Morty alone.

So we are considering switching from cable to Hulu/Sling and one thing that we get good use of is the Comcast voice remote. My 5 year old can not wake us up on a weekend morning (or his sister) and just shout Puppy Dog Pals or Kids Zone or some shit in to the remote and voila, happy kid. Is there any remote with the Roku/Fire that can do something similar? Perhaps he can yell Netflix or Hulu or something...

I think there's a fire stick that comes with voice control. I have a couple of the alexa fire cubes which can be a little buggy for cable but works decently with hulu, netfilx and amazon prime videos. The cubes are still on sale for $60 at amazon.

Damage so far is about $130. Bought a couple movies (including Avengers: Infinity War for $6.99 on Amazon) and a video game or two. Most of it was spent on Xwing Miniatures/Armada which Amazon and Miniature Market had some good sales on.

Bought $199 https://slickdeals.net/f/12330496-sh...src=SiteSearch

About $40 of Blurays & rentals - Annihilation, Pacific Rim, 12 Strong, Ready Player One, First Purge, Sicario

Also, wife and I found a possible furniture set from Macy's but we really aren't in a big rush (e.g. can wait for other sales)

I'll probably buy Fallout 76 tomorrow for about $33

Its working pretty well so far. If you guys have pet hair everywhere and hate to sweep, you should consider splurging on this. Don't know about long-term reliability yet but I can see loving it.
