FOF8 - 2019 Roster

Info:

I've created a really simple 2019 file. Took a lot of time to put together even though I took some shortcuts. But it's playable until there's a new version or Jim updates it

I've included the csv file in the zip. Please share the roster if you made improvements like player positioning or contracts.

I won't be making adjustments to salaries, as this is too big a task for me to handle manually, but hopefully someone have skills with programming to scrape the info.

Feel free to post any mistakes or other things you might find.

File

2019 NFL Roster Lite

Included:

- Player movement till 17th of August
- Player retirements(I retired Shazier and Smith as well)
- Added all rookies from 1st to 5th round and other rookies projected to reach the 53-man roster
- Correct colleges, weights and heights on all added players
- 2019 Salary cap and minimum salaries
- All players aged a year

Not included

- Correct rookie ages (They're all aged 22) & Home towns.
- Correct rookie contracts. (I have put them into tiers and used the average number for all players in the tier. 1-10, 11-32 Rounds 2, 3, 4 and 5th)
- Correct contracts length and values on new contracts
- Precise positioning for all rookies. If a rookie is listed as a OLB i might have added him as SLB even though he plays WLB. (I'm european and don't have a huge knowledge of college sports)
- Precise rookie evaluations. Their potential is based on draft position, and then I've made a few adjustments in the 1st round.

I updated a few of the players info, like draft year, DOB, and home town. Now for some reason my FDT file won’t load. I had no issues loading my new FDT file until I added bday and hometowns to majority of the rookies today. I’ve been working on updating the rosters since release and ran multiple trials without issue. I’ve scoured over the cvs file looking for an error I may have added by accident but it all looks normal. Any clues why my new FDT file won’t load into a new game?

I would guess a number value outside the constraints are the most likely problem. But you probably have looked at this already?

Yeah, I’ve looked for hours over the entire excel sheet and I can’t find anything. I’ve spent hours looking. It allows me to save my cvs file and then make my FDT file. When I load it into the game it becomes unresponsive while loading half way..... I’ve spent so many hours working on it I’m going to spend a few more trying to find the problem. Thanks for the response

May be a dumb question but how do you "install" a roster? Is it supposed to be on the hard drive somewhere?

I looked in the game install directory, Documents, and the only FOFB directory I found was in AppData\... (damn you Microsoft for having 3+ main folders for one application) but I don't see any roster files. I searched my drive for *.fdt files but the only ones I found were this one that I just downloaded.
