NOFL Week 15 Has Started: Deadline is 10/24/08

I play the only game this week, but everyone else has to recruit. I should be able to get the game in on Tuesday or Weds. So hopefully, we'll be able to advance early this week.

I can't wait for championship week. I MAY be high enough in the standings I can still get in if I lose, but I'd much rather get in on my own merits.

They have me in the Fiesta Bowl vs Florida (gulp)

At least I could play the spoiler and give you your only loss.
Actually at this point, I wish you would've won so we could see you and kingneb in the National Championship. I can't believe I dropped three freakin' games against the computer.

Well, I'm projected to play in the prestigous Holiday Bowl against EF27's Huskies. I'm glad that I get to play another game against a human this season. Well, that is if everything stays the same from here out...

I'm wondering if there's a chance that EF is going to jump into 1st place in the Pac-10 if he wins this game. I'm sitting in 1st now but I've already played all of my games. I have no clue how all of these tiebreakers work. I know he lost to USC and I beat them, but he also beat my Stanford team albiet against the CPU when I was on vaca.

Anyone have any idea?

I have no idea. The tiebreakers in this series have always stumped me. They don't always seem to follow real life.

In EBFL we had USF beat Pitt, Pitt beat WVU and WVU beat USF.

All three teams had identical records, but USF won the Big East based on their BCS Ranking.

I should be able to get my recruiting done on Wed. night. It's my only night at home this week. I can't wait til next week when my life will return to semi-normal (or I should say, the "new" normal). Hope I don't hold anyone up.

It looks very good for me getting my recruiting/game in today, so if everyone gets done their recruiting we should be good to advance within the next day or sooner.

Cal played us very tough at home despite their 4-7 record. Locker led us to a last minute FG from inside the 10 that was the deciding margin. We won the game 20-17.

Whoever is last to recruit, please post in this thread when you have done so.

Looking at the standings, I think it may be using Point Differential as the tiebreaker. That is the only logic I can see behind it being Stanford, USC, and then Washington.

It might but I dunno. In EBFL the last game of the year was USF vs WVU. USF wins and they go to the Orange Bowl. Prior to the game the bowl projections had USF in the Orange Bowl. After the game, WVU was projected for he Orange Bowl.

When it came to bowl selection time, USF got the bid.

No problem.. I'm the last one in the RFL. I'll get that done and advance this league in about 30 minutes.
