Just started watching this on-demand and have nearly finished.

I can't wait to see how this season ends!

I didn't catch it last night, but if nobody else weighs in before I have a chance to see it I'll let you know later today when I manage to sneak in a look at it.

It's online. As for spoiler free... I think the shots are so fast it'd hard to see anything spoilerish. Depends on how much you know about season one. Some shots show you who is alive and what not and the status of a few characters.

I've seen S1 and read book 1 but haven't read any of the others, so it sounds like it would be ok for me to watch (can you tell I'm jonesing for the next season?)

Yeah. If you've read book one and watched S1, you're totally fine. It's just a bunch of cool images and some dialouge that wont spoil anything for you.

Me too. I thought the trailer was fantastic. The guy playing Varys simply kills that speech.

The trailer was outstanding. Can't wait until April.

Glad they included Vary's riddle, I always liked that.

Great to finally get a good shot of Stannis and Melisandre too.

I read that a bunch of season two was shot in and around Dubrovnik. It'll be fun trying to place different shots from my time there.

Brienne looks fantastic. That's a really difficult part to cast.

edit: In looking again she has a bit of a James Spader look.

I've always pictured Stannis as being lean and gaunt. I think the only knock on the guy is that his hair is a bit too long. But that's ticky-tack. Other than that, I think he's pretty spot on. His presence, of course, will be the key.

I always pictured Stannis as bald, however. And I would think Melissandre should have... well, brighter red clothing & hair.

Just as a design problem you need to differentiate Lannister red from Melissandre red. They gave crimson to the Lannisters so they needed to go a different route for Melissandre.

I think it's easy to picture Stannis as older givne his demeanor and description but he is younger than Robert and New, so Mid 30's when the book starts. Davos, however, has 4 grown sons, so while we don't think of him as older, the implication is that he is at least in his 40's.

Appears to be as long as you don't read anything in spoiler tags. Definitely nothing major that I noticed.

Doesn't seem to be anything more than you get in the teasers. I'm halfway book 2 and haven't seen anything new.

Btw, Game of Thrones on Blu-ray is now $35 on Amazon. Not sure how long that price will last. I am glad I pre-ordered as its now $20 less than originally, and I get the lowest price.

Well, I've gone all out now. I preordered the blue-ray yesterday and today I found the soundtrack at a library used book sale (just came out less than a year ago) for $1.

trying to phrase this in a non-spoiler way. I'm reading the 3rd book and just learned that a certain character was there for an event that we would have seen in season 1. wondering if they actually snuck him into that scene, which, IMO, would be pretty cool

If I'm reading that right, I think since he didn't really appear "on-screen" at that event in Book 1, they probably didn't especially since it's likely we would have heard some casting news if they'd promised someone that part. It would be cool though

Okay, I am drawing a blank. Could someone who knows PM me who the character is and what event in Book 1 is being referred to?

Edit: Oh, and, yes, I realize, it will probably be "oh yeah!" moment when I read what you guys are talking about.
