$3.19 this morning in Austin. And only $3.39 for diesel, which is the lowest I've seen it in a while. It is less than premium gas.

I think I paid 1.38 a litre last night, so that's... what... >$6.00/gallon?

$3.30 in Green Bay. Apparently a discount station opened up across the street from a Shell. That shell was able to react right away, while the others in town took a few days to be able to lower the price enough to get in sync, thanks to the way Wisconsin law is written.

It went from $3.47/gal to $3.30 in, like, a week.

$3.39 right now at my favorite gas station. Sams Club in Utica has it at 3.15.

The fact that I have to get out of my car to pump my own overpriced gas is probably Obama's fault.

Driving out of Washington DC a couple weeks ago, I noticed something - took a cameraphone pic but it wasnt very clear. Two stations, right across the street from one another... we've all seen it, how they have differing prices maybe due to accessibility, brand recognition, etc. I'm not sure what I would set as the maximum price difference there... but...

50 cents difference? Really?

Giving it a little thought, I think there are sociological reasons at work at that location - but the main thing is probably that it was a semi-divided highway where "turning around and getting back" would be pretty impractical...so the eastbound side I was on (expensive) was physically close to the westbound side, but not really all that close for easy selection by the average driver. Still... fifty cents? Seriously?

Generally $3.55 in Portland, Maine, these days.

Also, just paid $3.23/gallon for home heating oil (100 gallons). I have not enjoyed the switch from the Natural Gas we had in IL to the Oil furnace we now have in ME (road we're on doesn't have a Natural Gas line).

Prices should start creeping up, now that the winter fuel formulations are being distributed.

$3.09 2 days ago, but I had $.80/gallon off from Kroger so it was only $2.29. Less than $40 to fill my minivan for the first time in an incredibly long time.

$2.23 on the north side of KC. Seems to drop a penny or two every day. There's people filling their gas tank for free when they combine the deals that the local grocery stores offer on gas discounts if you purchase certain products.
