We love to see a player bet on himself.

Dennis Schroder rejected four-year, $84M contract extension from Lakers

Uh, make betting on yourself is not always the best decision.

Sources - Boston Celtics, Dennis Schroder agree on 1-year, $5.9 million deal

Watching the Pelicans roster moves around Zion feels like I'm watching the Cavs desperately trying to keep Lebron happy enough to stay except in this situation there's almost no chance he's extending past his rookie deal.

The Pelicans are somehow worse than they were when Zion joined as a rookie.
Despite that, I am going to have to see Zion turn down that contract extension from the Pelicans before I will believe that he is going to turn down that contract extension from the Pelicans.

No worries. I am sure they will get the same slap on the wrist most CEO's get for doing roughly the same thing.

It's such an odd story. It seems like a weird high profile target. It feels like trying to go after Martha Stewart for insider trading for a few bucks while trillions are leaving out the back door.

I realize that the Pistons are very young, nobody knows anything about them other than their fans, and they won’t be a playoff team, but what’s the opinion from other places regarding Cunningham? I don’t have television and haven’t looked at much other than select clips, but I’m curious about anyone who has seen him play in an actual game. Summer League doesn’t count. He can shoot. That’s all I can tell for sure. At his size, shooting about 40% isn’t all that impressive with no other skills.

Grizzlies beat OKC 152-79. Biggest blowout in nba history.
