Fairly Legal on USA
So, a new show being pushed by an off-network: Drama Television Series - Fairly Legal - USA Network -Fairly Legal
I stumbled on it by happenstance today, watched a bit of the pilot. It doesn't seem to be all that well conceived, and I'm not sure the scripting is very strong. But something about the show has a certain appeal. Oh, right. The SMOKING SMOKING SMOKING hot woman cast in the lead. Sarah Shahi has been desperately need in some more exposure (pun intended) for some time now. (If you find her vaguely familiar, maybe you remember her as the Vegas prostitute that Tony Soprano spent some time with toward the very end of the show?) Anyway...full first episode is apparently on hulu. This woman would be worth the time just to watch her read the phone book. And every so often, they seem to want to put her into her underwear or something like that. So that shows a sense of place, at least. Just tossing it out there. |

I caught the pilot as well and said...I will watch it just to see her...there was scene where she was in a tank top, no bra on the boat, and apparently it was cold...

I DVR'd this show since I'm a general fan of the quirky, light nature of USA shows. Everything Quik says goes double for me. The premise seems a bit flimsy and I'm not sure about the depth of the show but it's a breezy diversion. I'm sure the ladies and SyFy fans will appreciate the presence of Anders from Battlestar Galactica.
But the smoking hotness of Sarah Shahi cannot be denied. The word sultry appears to have been coined just for her -- the voice, eyes, looks, body. If she wasn't designed by God, it was definitely a high level staff person. As we used to say, hubba hubba. |

Watched the first episode last night. Not much in the story department, not much in the secondary character department -- no Sam Axe or Burton 'Gus' Guster quality characters so far. In fact, there was no dynamic between the central character and any other character that would make this worth watching over the long haul. The writing needs to improve quickly.

Sarah Shahi! Loved her on "Life" and glad she has her own show now!

She's not a lawyer. She's a mediator.
In any case. I'll watch pretty much anything with anyone affiliated with "Life". I also felt the show had something to it that made it appealing. I mean more so than the tight skirts and pumps. |

I'd like to say something about her and a reverse cowgirl but I'll move on.

This definitely prompted a google search and the requisite "so, why didn't I become a photographer?" soulsearching.

Well this either needs to get *way* better really fast, or this chick needs to start getting naked.

Unfortunately the series has been cancelled. I liked season 1 and season 2 was decent. Although the show was entirely sappy and not based in reality, it had heart.

D'oh. I kinda liked the twist at the end of the last episode too...the whole love-triangley thing had legs IMO.

I thought so too. I'm disappointed that we won't find out what the ending of the series will be. I was really surprised that Virginia Williams' character threw away the bug. |

Yeah - I mean it wasn't "OMG GREAT TV" but it was fun show to tune in to I thought.

Too bad - I enjoyed it. Definitely worse shows out there that go on and on.
