Everyone knows I'm a die hard Dodgers fan, however, when it comes to baseball, the nexus of my love begins with the 1983 Braves. My grandfather was the person who was able to answer my questions about stats, and even though they lived in Atlanta and I in Minot, when I visited that summer we watched the Braves every day. I had Braves placemats at dinner, and my love of baseball and baseball stats was cemented forever.
