I'll put my name on the list, please (assuming someone is keeping a list).

EF's sticky WW History has the first 100 or so games, but I don't think there's a master list beyond that (though all you have to do is scan a few pages of this subforum to get an idea for the others).

Yeah, if you're worried about doing a remake, a search is your best bet. If you're just wondering about ideas, or mechanics, best bet is to PM some of the guys who run games a lot and ask.

Go ahead and throw CR ahead of me, if he's still willing. Next few weeks are gonna be busy for me.

Sure, that's a good spot for me. I can run the next one.

You can put me back on. If I'm going to do my Game of Thrones game close to the show run, I'll need to get back on the list quick.

You're welcome to jump my slot if it works out, Chief, particularly while we have the numbers for big games.

Let's play it by ear, see how things are looking when your turn comes up. I'll just be sure to be ready to go when you come up, just in case.

Yes, due to a busy work schedule, I am not quite ready to put my game up. Autumn is also maybe too busy at points next week, though, so if someone wants to run a small game, now is the time. After that, Autumn and I can figure out which of us will go.

Or we can also take a week off and just recharge.

As always, I advocate someone just put up a simple game, especially for some of the newer folk. It's good sometimes to not have to worry about mechanics and just play with the basics.

I suppose I could actually do that if I did very barebone writeups. but if someone else wants a shot, go for it.

I am prepared to run the next game, but I need a day off to clear up some details, to just sit down and re-check the ruleset.

That day off, because of my hectic schedule, won't come until Sunday. Shortly after that, though, I will put up the game and hope for a midweek signing (Tuesday or Wednesday, May 14-15). If signings are slow, I would push it back to the start of the following week (Monday, May 20).

The theme will be the Game of Thrones.

Could you not run sign-ups before you finish up everything? It'll get you an idea of the number of players as well.

I really shouldn't until some decisions are fleshed out in my detail work, but if I can come up with a quick post up with the basic game theme, I may do that today.

Blue and I are working out a Doctor Who themed game. Does anyone want to help us balance it?

I can help if you like. I'm unlikely to play in the next game because of some busy times at work right now, so I can give your ruleset a once over if you like and it won't spoil anything.

It is kind of nutty over there. A lot of emotion, a lot of posting. EF and I replaced into a game yesterday, and a lot of our posting was basically to the effect of "CALM DOWN."

Holy crap, I felt like I just ran over someone's dog the way she greeted me. Wow. But it has calmed down now. I like the added posting but they do take way too much from day one posts. Can be fun though.

dola: this game isn't even as crazy as the last one I was in. In that one I would go to work for the day and when I got home there would be about 20 pages of posts to read through. That was insane.

Right. Usually need to be able to check every couple hours to be able to keep up. The game that violin ragged me about being AFK in was one that had a 4pm deadline on a day where I was totally sidetracked at work.

We could flood some night deadline games, though, and get more of an old FOFC-style WW feel over there.

I'd be happy to run something at some point but my night schedules are often very busy so people would have to be cool with uncertain deadline process times.

Seems like that'd be fine with a single-deadline game and a house rule to stop posting substantively after the stated deadline.

Has anyone done a Dark Tower (Stephen King) themed game? I looked briefly through the WW History and didn't see anything. I'm leaning towards that.
