Yes, I watch the show, shut up.
Can any of those who do wathc beleive that Kimberly didn't move on? I thought she sang the best of all of them last night (although the song she picked was horrible. Ethledge sucks ass). Anyway, I seriously thought Kimberly might win the whole thing. She might still get the wildcard thing, though.. |

Julia wasn't even in my top three of last night. Maybe she has a "look" that appeals to people but her voice is flat and she is as entertaining as a corpse.

forced by girlfriend to watch (she cooked me dinner, I needed to make it up somehow)
I'm glad she didn't make it. She comes accross as phonier-than-phony. She plays to the camera every chance she gets, and has such a generic look. I hope she has no chance at a wild-card. |

Yeah, she does play to the camera. Especially tonight. But based on look and voice alone, I think she was so far ahead of everyone else in that group.
Generic look or not, I'd hit that. |

THANK YOU CTHOMER!!!! I thought I was the only one. She's incredibly hot and has talent, but I couldn't shake that phony vibe she gave off. I thought Charles was OK, but nobody from that group really impressed me. Hopefully next week is better.
BTW, does anybody miss Dunkleman? Me and my bro called him dingleberry last year.

Oh, I'm also glad the generic white frat-guy looking (was the last to not make the top 3) dude didn't make it. He had such an incredibly flat voice... I couldn't understand how the judges let him get this far.
BTW, Paula looks like she had some facial surgery (botox maybe?) and was looking a little stiff. I even heard Simon say "your smile looks so unnatural." She's also the worst critic amongst the three, ready to like anyone. I think knowing that she would have floundered in a competition such as this is probably always in the back of her mind. Maybe they just need one supportive judge there, so people don't run off and kill themselves.

I call it a toss up.

look. I think you'd trade a half-hour of your life (american idol) for a home-cooked meal (a great one at that). Get off my back!!!

FOR THE RECORD, the only reason I started watching Idol this year was because it's on nights that other great shows are on. Last night, it came on before 24 and tonight it was on after That 70's Show and before Bernie Mac.
I didn't watch last year. Does that count for anything. |

I think the best part of the show is the early auditions. Even then it seemed a bit overdone. I will say after not watching one episode of the first one, I was interested for a few shows of this season. Not going out of my way to see anymore of the episodes, however.

Kimberly wasn't that good IMO... especially compared to previous songs.. she sounded unexcited, had no energy, stood still, and picked a terrible song...

Julia is a total babe, yo. She sings pretty well, too. I picked her to win the first time I saw her. She probably wont, but its cool shes still in it. Esp. since shes hot.

I didn't catch yesterdays show. Was Julia the last one to go on Tuesday? I'm having trouble putting a face with the name. But if I remember correctly, Julia was very attractive and had a couple of things going for her.

Reading this thread is like hearing a busload of 10 yr olds singing '100 bottles of beer on the wall'.

I happened to catch the final final episode of American Idol by accident. Paula , Randy, and Simon were there and they brought their trademark awkwardness.
