2 Great Men - An Ncaa2k5 Dynasty.

Welcome to my dynasty. I am doing a dynasty similar in ways to the 4 great men dynasties that several people have done with FOF. This dyansty is a bit different in more ways than one.

For Starters, This dynasty will only last until my two players graduate. They are both redshirt freshmen, so that is a maximum of 4 years. My focus is on these two players, as such, information about recruiting, the games themselves and other things will be kept to a minimum.

Now for the 2 players. They both will play for my human controlled team, and I will play every game. Player 1 is a RB on offense. My offense is a power running game, and I chose RB to maximize the amount of time I can play with him. Player 2 is a MLB on defense. Again, I will be using him every down, unless he tires and is subbed out.

I do have a few ground rules. Coaching contracts is on. I have to do well enough to keep my job for the 4 years. I also have to start my two players all 4 years, barring one of them leaving for the draft early. That is a real possibility for my RB. Even if I recruit a better guy, he cannot start unless one of them is injured that week. I have created a custom school, and it starts out as a cupcake. I am hoping this provides a nicebackdrop, as I try to get my two players to lead my team to victory.

The final change, is that every single post will be made in the seven place holders you see below. This should make it very easy to read my dynasty, and will keep all of the relevant facts near the top.

Right now I am playing on the varsity level. I am not a great Ncaa player, and I havent been since NCAA 2k2. Quarter length is set to 4 minutes, which works just right for me. The only sliders I have increased is pass catching, it is nearly maxed for cpu and human.

University of Central Oklahoma to Join Division IA Football December 14th 2004 - The Daily Oklahoma

In a move that suprised many today, UCO A.D. annouced that their football program would join the elite ranks of Division IA football. "It really was a wise decision, given our domiance of IAA football for the last ten years" said athletic director Tim Brown. UCO will be joining the mountain west conference, and will be replacing Montana. Montana has struggled the last 14 years since they joined the mountain west conference. They have openly talked about moving down one level, and this may be the last nail in their coffin. UCO does have a long road ahead of them, as they still need to find a head coach, after their previous head coach, Bill walters, joined the Dallas Cowboys as offensive coordiator.

University of Central Oklahoma names Aaron Mell as new head coach December 18th 2004 - The Daily Oklahoma

The broncos have found a new head coach. Former Offensive Coordinator for the University of Kansas has taken the job. "I think this is a wonderful opportunity to take a team from the ground up. I am getting to shape the history of this teams in new ways, and hope that we can be very successful" Coach Mell was quoted saying at this morning's press conference. He has his work cut out for him though. UCO is in poor shape heading into the 2005 season, and their team just doesnt have the talent they will need to do well in the Mountain West conference.

UCO Holds spring scrimmage
April 4th 2005 - The Daily Oklahoma

The Broncos headed up their first scrimmage of the 2005 spring training. Two players immediately stood out during the scrimmage. RS Freshman Bobby Jones(RB) carried the ball 11 times, for 78 yards. RS fresman Aaron Little(MLB) also had a very nice scrimmage, getting 4 tackles and an interception. "These two kids are phenominal athletes" Coach Mell said. "It is still way to early to name anyone as a starter, but if they both can keep this up, and continue to improve, there is no telling how well they might do."

UCO Set to play first game of the season
September 3rd 2005 - The Daily Oklahoma

UCO is set to kick of the season this weekend at home against Appalacian state. It should be a fun game to watch, with freshman running back Bobby Jones leading this offense, and middle linebacker Aaron Little in the backfield. "We are real fired up, and are looking to see what these two kids can do" Said coach Mell in a pregame interview.

UCO loses to temple 27-0
September 18th 2005 - The Daily Oklahoma

UCO walked away with its first loss on saturday, The bronchos struggled throughout the entire game. Freshman RB Bobby Jones turned in a poor performance, and only managed 55yds. "Our OL just let the guys from temple push them around all night" Coach mell said "It made it really hard for Jones to get going, when he was having to dodge players in the backfield all night" The bronco's next opponent is against Montana state at home in two weeks.

Broncho's defeat Montana Stae in a lopsided victory
September 25th - The Daily Oklahoma

University of Central Oklahoma improved to 2-1 following a 28-7 victory over Montana state. "We took control of the ball early on in the game, and didn't let go" Said coach Mell. Look for the season to get plenty tougher in the coming weeks, as the Broncho's start conference play against UL Monroe. It will be another test for this young team. Freshman RB Bobby Jones led the way scoring all 4 TD's and rushing for 235 yards, a career best.

Week 1
We start off our season with a game against Appalacian State. The game goes well for us. We go for it with 7 seconds left on the goalline to end the half, and fail to punch it in. Bobby Jones has a breakout game, but Aaron Little doesnt do so well. He is tied for sacks, and tackles for loss though.

Week 3
This game is very frustrating for me. My poorly skilled players are no match, even for a weak team like temple. My OL was pushed around all game, and gave me no chance to have a running game. My players were just getting burned on defense too.

Week 5
A much better result this time around. Against teams weaker or the same, ratings wise, I do really well. I will probably have to increase the difficulty level in a season or 2, once I get some better players in
