An opening in FOOL

The Front Office Offseason League, the resident fast-sim OOTP9 league of FOFC has an opening. We contracted two teams after our 5th season and had an expansion draft, to add two new ones. We essentially killed off a juggernaut that had been with us for five years (5 straight league titles, 2 FOOL Classic titles) and an underachieving team after their owner left.

Well, your opportunity to take over the new Seattle ballclub is here. They have the #1 rated farm system in the league and a nice foundation all around. If you sign up by tonight, you'll still have a chance to get in on free agency.

We've got 16 teams, a full slate of active owners and we're heading into our 6th season already. It's a low-commitment league, doesn't require a ton of your time, yet gives you enough fuel to your OOTP fire.

Just one team open right now. Brooklyn needs an owner. Won the Classic seven season ago. We're heading into our 17th season this week. We sim a season a week, we're active and it's a renaissance in FOOL these days.

Way more immersive and competitive than solo play.

It's not 100% but we have a vulture who I haven't heard from in a few days and I'd rather turn my team over to someone tonight rather than waiting. If you're looking to get into a new league, FOOL is looking for 1 person. Chicago is the team you'd be taking over. Four years removed from a FOOL Classic title and a team that went underwent a renaissance during the 70s after a really poor first decade of franchise history.

Coming off a second place finish and boasting the second best rotation top to bottom in the league, coupled with a run producing offense. If you could upgrade the bullpen some a little bit and go out and get maybe one more bat and even that might not be necessary, they've got the chops to compete now.

Check out FOOL. Our 20th season starts this week!

As FOOL continues our 20th season, there currently is indeed a team open (Compton). Compton made the FOOL Classic a few times roughly a decade ago and finished second place only three seasons ago.
