Thoughts:
Chumba vs Pickett - 8 votes for Pickett? People voting against Tubthumping? Dream Academy vs Fountains of Wayne - I thought this was a pretty good match up...But Wayne wins going away...next round could be fun. Everything but the Girl vs Hugo - no comment Poindexter vs T'Pau - Also no comment, except that this winner and the one above get to meet in the next round, meaning one of these songs is getting to the 3rd round... Devo vs Surfaris - was shocked when Whip It fell way behind early...but it finished about how I expected. Mardones vs Real Life - Thought it was going to be closer... Lynn vs Aqua - Ok, this one shocked me...not that Got to Be Real is a great song, but I just didn't see this board being pro Barbie Girl...but this just gets added to a list of things I've been wrong about in this tourney. Fabares vs Faith No More - I know from the original thread that Epic has some pretty passionate followers on this board, and I didn't thing Johnny Angel was a particularly tough first round opponent, so I expected this to be much more one sided. I love the Monster Mash, and my band performs it live. I still went with Tubthumping.

Epic v. Barbie Girl is certainly the most interesting Round 2 matchup in this bracket.
