I'm With Stupid #245 - NFL DRAFT EDITION
The Rules
The rules are the same as previous FOFC “I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game's deeply beloved progenitors. There is no doubt about this. They are the best. The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. For the mathematically challenged, product means they are multiplied together, not added. Highest score wins. Collaboration of any kind is strictly forbidden. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants. There are no prizes other than everlasting glory and total consciousness on your deathbed, so the need to cheat shouldn't be an issue. All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring even the most trivial degree of judgment fall to that of the dual administrators of this round of the game. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. Our decisions are final and utterly inarguable, no exceptions. We, and We alone, can determine what is right. Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However... Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "who is the most vile and filthy NFL fan base to ever breathe Oxygen" and you and seven others respond with "New England" I will reluctantly award you all 8 points before smacking you upside the head and telling you it was clearly the scum aligning themselves with the Philadelphia Eagles. It is at this point where we post our Hall of Heroes. We have removed the spoiler tag because we are making America Great Again and easily triggered folks need some tough love. Stupid was just named GM of the Cleveland Browns (not that anyone could ever tell the difference between he and the last dozen seat occupiers) 1) Stupid decided that that most valuable position on the team isn't quarterback and it isn't anywhere on the defensive line. He is going to turn the NFL upside down with his number one pick. What position is he drafting? 2) Having played FOF for years. Owning the draft analyzer and the various other script based controversial tools, Stupid feels he needs house rules to give other NFL owners a chance at survival. (Apparently just starting in Cleveland isn't enough for ourr boy Einstein) Because of this he has decided that he will never draft a player from one college; what college is that? 3) Even Stupid knows "the process" is stupid. He has a different plan in mind, one that will return the Browns to the lofty level of mediocrity they long enjoyed. He knows that is a lofty dream which has a long way to go but he has named his plan, a name that he thinks will cause him to be remembered forever; a name with a Cleveland theme. What did he name it? 4) Even though Stupid doesn't think his team even needs to play a QB, he has heard the rumblings from the fans. If he doesn't draft a QB he may lose his cush job and the endless supply of adoring (female) fans it provides. So he HAS to draft a QB with his second 1st round draft pick and he cant trade the pick. Remarkably at position 12 no QB has been drafted and all eligible QBs are on the board. Which QB does stupid draft. 5) Stupid knows how to spot value. Through extensive study of past drafts he knows this position always provides great value in the back half of the draft. So he would never waste a Top 3 round pick on it. What non specialist position is stupid waiting to draft until at least round 4. 6) All this player evaluating is hard work. And Stupid isnt known for his work ethic. He just decides to skip the BS and rely on the best draft analyst in the business, known for his excellent evaluation skills. Which media analysts draft board does Stupid rely on? Send your answers to BOTH myself and EagleFan via PM to me. Failure to send your results to both of us will result in a x -999,999,999 multiplier being added to your final score. We will both forget about this and then be shamed by the board into tallying a final score sometime in the not too distant future....let's say Next Friday night during day 2 of the draft. |

Butter, could you forward the answers to me as well?
We're hoping that between the two of us at least one of us will get the results up quickly enough. |

The Results
1) Stupid decided that that most valuable position on the team isn't quarterback and it isn't anywhere on the defensive line. He is going to turn the NFL upside down with his number one pick. What position is he drafting? Wasn't sure where this one would go, thought maybe more love for the kickers. Rather spread out. S - 3 K - 3 WR - 2 CB - 2 RB - 2 T - 2 P - 1 2) Having played FOF for years. I was thinking Michigan (for the whole Ohio/Michigan reason but also thought Alabama would be a very likely answer). Not picking Alabama was a killer as it turns out. Alabama - 9 Ohio St. - 3 Michigan - 2 Notre Dame - 1 3) Even Stupid knows "the process" is stupid. I apologize for this. This didn't pan out. In my head I was thinking something along the lines of The Drive and the Fumble... The Recovery. Was going to group a few but since there were a couple that matched up I didn't want to penalize them. Cleveland Steamer - 3 Brown Plan - 3 The Ends - 1 Cleveland First - 1 Cleveland Way - 1 Code Brown - 1 Brown Town Revival - 1 Brown Out - 1 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - 1 Cleveland Rocks - 1 The Decision - 1 4) Even though Stupid doesn't think his team even needs to play a QB, he has heard the rumblings from the fans. This was a bracket buster if you didn;t go with Trubisky. Trubisky - 12 Watson - 3 5) Stupid knows how to spot value. Through extensive study of past drafts he knows this position always provides great value in the back half of the draft. So he would never waste a Top 3 round pick on it. What non specialist position is stupid waiting to draft until at least round 4. RB - 7 C - 4 (a late surge changed things a bit with this one as RB was leading by a lot) S - 2 G - 1 FB - 1 6) All this player evaluating is hard work. And Stupid isnt known for his work ethic. He just decides to skip the BS and rely on the best draft analyst in the business, known for his excellent evaluation skills. Which media analysts draft board does Stupid rely on? Kiper or bust. Kiper - 12 Mayock - 2 Walterfootball - 1

Alabama was the obvious choice there. I picked Michigan because I got too caught up in the Ohio thing.

See what happens when a Cowboys fan tries to work with an Eagles fan; chaos ensues. :-)
I see there were three that didn't include me in the PM. There was a question about the wording of the request for the PM's so I can add those answers in when I get home and re-tally. CU Tiger forwarded those to me so I can add them to my sheet and will update the results. "Moonlight won!".... |

Warhammer and Pyser can run with it. I don't think I'd be able to do a good one.
