Football Party Gambling Game Ideas

We've had some success coming up with gambling games on here before (the Kentucky Derby Pool comes to mind), so I thought I'd throw my party dilemma out to the masses.

I'm co-hosting a college football themed party this Saturday and we'd like to incorporate some sort of party game/gambling element. There are a number of challenges.

-The party is taking place over the course of the afternoon and people will be coming and going at different times.

-There is not one feature game (like a super bowl squares game). Folks will have different interests and some probably will be just there for the party.

-We are supposed to move from one house to another before the evening games start.

Any ideas? Some I've mulled over...

-A pick sheet, sort of like a casino parlay card, where you pick the games of the day. You could have a confidence point system to even out a late arriving guest?

-Pick the team that will score the most points on the day or some series of related prop type selections.

-Run a square game from a featured game or twice (like the 3:30 games and the 7:00 games).

What does the FOFC elite have for me?

-Come up with something goofy like picking which animal grouping scores the most points over the course of the day (Tigers vs. Bulldogs vs. Bird mascot teams), etc.

Cats vs Dogs(or dogs and other animals) vs Birds vs "The World" seems like a solid idea.

I don't know the breakdown of which teams have which mascots, but it would make for a solid chart with a bunch of wagering options(points, wins, etc). Would be a neat little board much like a fantasy draft board.
