Haven't seen much of the Bengals this year. That Burrow kid might be pretty good. I'm a fan.

While I appreciate that Burrow was not out of bounds when he made that throw, there was clearly a whistle there. Can't believe that was not addressed.

Edit: Well someone on the broadcast eventually caught it.

I'm not saying the calls are bad, but the game is really being decided by official calls right now.

Wow good thing for the Bengals that the Raiders didn’t figure out they were allowed to throw in the end zone and score TDS.

Dear Bengals,

Don't rough the passer.

ETA:

That was considered roughing?

Uncomfortable, but they got it done. Now I hope everything goes chalk as I think they have a better chance against the Titans than the Chiefs, given the D-line injuries.

You can hear the Cobra Kai calling for a body bag, only this time, young Daniel LaRusso doesn't have a Crane kick ready for deployment.

Belichik has essentially played these past two seasons like FOF with house rules. (Can I win the Superbowl with a washed up veteran QB?/Can I win with a limited rookie?) Clearly had more success with the latter, but we're seeing the limitations now.

The only thing that would make this game interesting is if Josh Allen changed uniforms at halftime and tried to see if he could bring the Pats back.

A fake spike turned into a sack after letting 30 second run off the clock with 2 timeouts. Bellichick must have left early.

Maybe... the most impressive thing about what Allen has done today is that these two teams are 1-2 in the NFL in pass defense according to my quarterback metric. I figured this would be a very low scoring game.

6 possessions, 6 touchdowns, Bills just absolutely curb stomping the Pats.

Though I would have preferred the Steelers ,Raiders or the Pats to come to play the Titans I am not all that concerned by the Bengals. I am not following the reasoning with them losing some Dlineman and thus the Titans being a better match up. With Derrick Henry coming back and Foreman playing well that bodes well for the Titans. Also their Oline has been playing well for the last quarter of the season.

The big problem with the line, if the injuries affect next week, is the pass rush. They'll be okay, though not great, against the run with Reader, Hubbard, et. al. They had zero pass rush, though, after Hendricksen and Ogunjobi left.

Apparently that was the first time in NFL history a team went an entire game without punting, kicking a FG or turning the ball over.

Well that would mean my beloved Cardinals did not make the Super Bowl, so I'm afraid I can't allow that bet

And I’m not saying that most of the flags aren’t warranted, but between this game and the Bengals game, it feels like the refs huddle up pregame and say, “Now, remember, everyone is here to see US! Let’s give ‘em a show!”

Yeah, this is a good exercise in why it doesn’t make sense to spend all that capital to draft a top 10 receiver if you don’t have a QB who can actually throw it to him. Some of the basic reads that Hurts has missed are just absolutely brutal.

The expanded playoffs suck. Bring back the BCS.

narrative: "Hurts is so limited"
gameplan: Hurts controls the ball on 39 of the first 46 plays

So either
a) the staff doesn't think he's limited
b) the staff thinks the rest of the roster REALLY sucks
c) the staff doesn't have a tiny microscopic clue wtf they're doing

And those choices are not mutually exclusive

Yeah, I mean in this case, you bring in a #7 -- which really doesn't belong there -- and they play a #2, making an even bigger mismatch. Time will tell, but I don't think that makes for good games.

This might actually be one of the most inexplicable gameplans I can recall in a while.

Reverting back to what you did poorly, when your results sucked doing it, against the team they last sucked oh so terribly against.

Either the coaching staff should be let go en masse before midnight OR this was done under direct orders from upstairs.

I hope the back end of this is as true as the front end proved to be.

I backed off from most DFS plays in this game, but ended up using both Gronk and Bernard in my main thing, and both of them paid for their oats, more or less. Need a solid game from Dak and no slate-breakers elsewhere.
