This is something I'll never understand. It's a wedding not World War III or curing cancer- it's something that happens thousands of times daily in this country alone and there's a formula to it, for the most part. We got engaged in February and married in July and my wife was going nuts planning every little insignificant detail. And it's one of those things that will suck all available time away whether it's 6 months away or a year and six months away. Shorter engagement is better.
