I used two bundles of herbs and two healing potions on that efreet. Because I fleed I got no XP or any of the items / gold from the encounter, so I just wiped out everything for nothing basically. As long as Hoops loses I can still be happy though!

Well, that is one option. Of course, the ghouls are not going to help your homeland, or whatever it was that you were spouting off about over the weekend.

Another would be that we try to meet up again and get you back on your feet - at some cost, of course. Since you don't have gold or healing items, what kind of items do you have that might be of use to your new sponsors?

I would want to talk it over with The Jackal, but you are not entirely useless even if you sound broken right now.

I stood there, took all the damage and all of its spells then I fled and right after they finished it off.

Sorry for being negative. I was just meeting with a 5th grader who seems at serious risk for an emotional disturbance. Got to me a little bit.

I'll see what I can do. I do have a horse figurine and a +1 to hit bracers I believe. And a little gold.

Thanks. It was just surprising because I was assessing for a learning disability or maybe attentional difficulties and all this stuff came out which was a huge surprise. Because I am temporary fill in I have exactly two days to complete this entire assessment and I can't really do it justice in that time.

Instead of using your ID thing on it, I could buy it for djinn price from you (60 gp, assuming it's a level 1 spell) as I auto-ID mage scrolls, then if it turns out to be useful and I want it, I can send you extra gold, or if not, I can just sell it to the djinn, but at least you save your ID powder for something else.
