I love Europe
Just got back from a late lunch, where I downed a liter of Weissbier. Now, we are back in the conference hall to finish setting up the software for the show tomorrow.

Yet another reason to love Europe. After 11pm, definitely the answer is yes. The FCC guys would blow a fuse watching late night TV here.

Europe is cool, but not when they play that fucking song "The Final Countdown." Then Europe sucks.

Although one thing that does suck is that air conditioning isn't real prevalent over here. It was over 100 degrees yesterday, and it is about 90 today, and having no AC really sucks. But it does make for good chica/damme/signorina watching on the street!

I'm in Heidelberg this week for a conference. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to Italia during this trip

So, you are saying that your life parallels Liv Tyler's character from "Stealing Beauty"?

How many times have you seen Baywatch since you've been there?

Ah Heidelberg, as a young GI in the 80s after a night on the town myself and another misguided soul from my unit stumbled upon the University's fencing room on the way up to the castle. Being intoxicated in a room full of swords and such is not a good idea. But does make for quite a memory. I can still hear Cheap Trick playing in the background. |

BTW, I've heard of Weiss Wine (white wine) and Weissen Bier (Wheat Bier), could the later be what you meant? Weissen Bier is supposedly the cheap stuff, and if your not slamming the lemon slice in the bottom of the glass before pouring then your not drinking it right.

Yep, it was the wheat beer. In the US we call it Hefeweissen, over here it is called Hefewiessbier. Perfect for a hot day. It has been almost 100 degrees here the past couple of days, and with all of these servers powered up for the conference, it is pretty damn hot in this building.
