? on disgruntled player
I have a LT on my Rams, Grant Williams, that is disgruntled about playing time. The trouble is he's been starting at LG for the last three weeks while McCollum is injured and out. McCollum was injured in the second game of the season so it's not like Williams sat for 8 weeks without playing.
Is he disgruntled because he's not playing his prefered position? I don't know if I'd call this a bug but don't think it's right either. |

I think in previous versions, once a player reach "disgruntled" status they stayed there forever. Is it possible he got disgruntled last year and is still carrying that grudge?

No in my first season. I restarted with the patch and gameplan and watch my games so it's not very fast. I know he was disgruntled after the first game where I don't believe he played at all or very little. I do have Pace and Turley so it's not like there is a lot of time available for him. I just assumed by playing him he would become content again even if at a different position. I'll keep my eye on it though as Pace was just injured so he'll be getting a start at LT this week along with a second rate LG, God save my qb. Lot's of running and quick throws won't have time to look deep lol.

ML, In past versions, players who are Disgruntled could become content again. You just have to play them about 6 or more games. If they reach Unhappy or worse then they stay that way, Unless he is traded and someday you get him back. Then he will be content again. Until you bench him. That starts the cycle again.

Just yesterday, I had a disgruntled offensive tackle. He played 3 games as guard and was content again. So it looks like not all players react the same way...

I Had a player who was a NT and I had another good one that was starting. I switch my allignment to 4-3 (Which I hate that the AI switches back to 3-4) and played a few games and he resigned with me 3 weeks into the season

in this version they dont stay that way, it usually doesnt take too long to reverse a disgruntled status. im sure there are a couple different modifiers i dont know about this that effect it, like your coach and the players personality/volitility. Ive had guys come back to normal from an 'angry' within a few weeks as well.

Ok, two weeks later and he is now content. I just didn't really know what to expect, turns out with this guy it took about 5 games with a lot of playing time.
