He's a pretty well-known radio character (I believe he was "born" in Tulsa, OK) who does "Crank-Yanker" type prank calls. Usually ending with him planning to "come down there & whoop somebody's ass". There's more than a half-dozen CD's out featuring his stuff, been around for what seems like forever (probably a lot less than that though). He's sold a couple million copies of the various CD's, so he's been around the block at least a couple of times. BTW, the "D" stands for "Dam", as in "Roy Damn Mercer".
