What the hell is going on in the STL-HOU game? I'm looking at the stats (not watching it) and I see no reason why STL should be down 3-24. No turnovers, STL has a solid running game, and although it looks like maybe Martin left hurt (?), Fitzpatrick isn't putting up terrible numbers. Houston looks like it has no ground game. Carr looks like he's lighting up the typical STL secondary though. Anybody watching this game?

The Bengals are up 17-0. Boller is 3 for 11. Palmer hit Johnson for a 54 yard touchdown pass, and Johnson proceeded to pick up the orange thing (I'm drawing blanks) and putted the football. Gotta catch the highlights for that guys, it was pretty funny.

I'm not watching, but the numbers are pretty ugly -- Houston has outgained St. Louis 2-1 in offensive yardage, and they've had great field position --a 40-yard kickoff return and an couple of decent punt returns. Total yardage with returns is close to 3-1 in favor of Houston

Kansas City is playing pretty well, but I'm just worried that they've allowed the Patriots to hang in there. They've had to settle for some field goals which I had hoped would become TDs.

Larry Johnson continues to keep my fantasy team alive ... 117 total yards a TD in the first half. The Chiefs have generally had their way with New England in all parts of the game except the offensive redzone -- four field goals. As long as they don't let up like they did against the Eagles ...

Johnson is going to be an interesting story in the offseason. He fired his former agent and his new agent has indicated Larry will sit out next year without a new contract. There are also rumblings that he has told the organization that he won't play for the team next year if Vermeil is back as head coach. With Holmes likely done for his career, Johnson is going to need to be the mainstay of this team in the forseeable future. They need to kiss and make up with him, which I don't know if it will be possible. There are a lot of hurt feelings with Larry on how he's been treated by the team and the fans, some his fault and some not. Domestic violence doesn't endear you to anyone.

Man, I haven't seen a wide receiver as open downfield as Dante Hall just was in years. Wow. 26-3 Chiefs and the rout is on.

C'mon Bucs, play some defense....and while they're at it, play some damn offense for once too.

Vikings playing pretty well defensively, forcing turnovers.

26-10. I do love that score so far, though. All they have to do is hold strong in the 4th when that inevitable New England comeback attempt kicks in.

I swear there is some kind of "comeback routine" in the NFL where NE just starts calling the right plays all of a sudden. It reminds me of an old football game where the AI starts getting bullshit calls and "guessing" your play if they are behind in the 4th.

I wouldn't worry, the way the defense is playing against the run (fumble aside), it won't matter what the offense does.

Vikings up 24-6 with 3 minutes left. This will be their 4th win in a row if they hold on, which is shitty because it definitely won't help in getting Tice fired.

Houshmandzadeh and Rudi are having fantastic games. A few turnovers gave the Ravens some scoring opportunities though, 42-21 Bengals.

If he gets to ten wins, do they re-sign him? This is the last year of his contract right?

Coming together on a party boat doesn't count.

Holy crap, I get another game other than SF and OAK ?!?!!?? Sure it's only ARI and JAX, but it beats watching SF or OAK every week. This is the first time I can remember being able to watch another team. Problem is I'm a Dolphins fan, and I can't find the OAK-MIA game on TV. OAK and SF are the only games ever shown on TV here, but now I can finally see my team and it's not on? WTF?

TERRIBLE strategic decision not to run on 3rd down by the Skins.

and he misses the kick... the coaches are morons. I was saying to myself "they have to run on 3rd down even if it means a really long field goal."

Brees shouldn't be allowed to throw anymore in this game. I can't see the game, so I don't know if they were his fault, but 2 picks on decent drives at the end of the 4th quarter isn't good.

The last one was a hail mary, no fault there. The other he tried to get into a pretty tight spot, it got tipped sky-high by the LB and Shawn Springs came flying in to grab it as it came down. Not one of the worst INTs a guy can throw.

It went to OT and LT broke off a 41 yard TD run to win it.

Wow, STL outscores HOU 30-3 in the last half and overtime to come back and win. Does anyone know now that ranks in terms of total comebacks?

Ankle injury to Byron early in the 1st.

EDIT: I didn't see it, I was flipping through the channels at the time, and this TV doesn't have a remote that currently works, so I missed it.

nowhere near as impressive as the Colts scoring 21 points in 4 minutes to get to OT to beat the Bucs a few years back.

And a guy people some were afraid of coming out of college because of all the milage he had on his legs (of course, he still went number 5 over all). He has truly achieved over some pretty big obstacles (like being on some bad teams, and having huge amounts of carries per game).

I know the Bolts took a lot of grief for not drafting Vick (which is one of the main reasons I root against him) but it looks like the trade was a winner for both teams.
