Well, I'm not going to be afraid to fire the Shot Heard Around the World. Someone's going to start voting. I'm going to vote Telle, for no reason really, except that I like to put a fire under the quieter players, and in a game this small seems better to do that sooner than later. I'm glad to change my vote later if someone miraculously comes up with a good reason to vote on day one.

I just expect that if you (or however) gets day one votes you'll have to jump in and be active, making posts that we can then use to judge your allegiance. If a quiet person doesn't get any heat early they often can get most of the way through the game with nothing to look at for evidence. It's just day one criteria, I need to invent something to pick a vote with.

It doesn't, in and of itself. It's just an arbitrary tool by which to hopefully learn something. You voted Telle, she voted you. You are both likely villagers, but you have set yourselves out as opposites. Perhaps for innocent reasons, perhaps not. We don't know. So might as well pick a showdown like this and see if we can come up with a vote which will help us down the road (at the very least).

Are there traitors among you?

Suspicion turns to accusation. Soon you decide that Darth Vilus does not look quite right. He must be a traitor.

You corner him to ask him why he does not share your view. He refuses to answer and a struggle begins. As you struggle you find that he has an object on him that you have never seen before. What is this? Who is he?

"Wait. You don't understand. I love this country! You must listen to me."

You silence him and someone pulls out a pistol and fires at Dart Vilus in unison with Darth Vilus grabbing the gunman's wrist. CrimsonFox drops in a heep. At that time another shot rings out and Dart Vilus drops.

Both are dead.

You search Darth Vilus and find items that you do not understand. There is a circular disk with pictures and writing on it, something about Village People's Greatest hits.

You search CrimsonFox and find only what a good loyalist would have on him but he has papers declaring him sir. You also find one note that says: 1. Duke to Lathum.

Dart Vilus was the brutal.

CrimsonFox was the duke.

Night results to follow.

Then you notice that Abe Sargent is missing.

You search everywhere but find nothing. All that you can see are his belongings that he brought with him.

In that you find what looks to be investigative equipment.

Abe Sargent was the seer.

Hmm good and bad results, losing seer hurts, but its possible the remaining wolf is the cunning so maybe not that much. Little surprised there was a brutal wolf in a 9 person game, but I guess EF figured since he included the duke.

Right now we are 5-1 with the bodyguard still out there, so a bad lynch takes us to 3-1 and then without a block, another bad lynch would end the game.

Basically figure we have two days to get this right at worse and hopefully we get lucky and get a block in there.

Oh man, not the sort of turn of events I expected on day one. Picking a wolf out of a hat is always a satisfying result, but I think I'd rather have kept our two roled villagers and build up some voting history and scans. This is going to be tough.

I have to agree with Danny that at first glance, he and Chief look the "worst" in the voting, since they were the next to vote after DV became a candidate, and voted elsewhere. Not much to hang a vote on.

I'd say it's not a great move in a game with likely only two wolves, especially since there was a brutal.

Picking a wolf out of a hat is always a satisfying result, but I think I'd rather have kept our two roled villagers and build up some voting history and scans. This is going to be tough. I have to agree with Danny that at first glance, he and Chief look the "worst" in the voting, since they were the next to vote after DV became a candidate, and voted elsewhere. Not much to hang a vote on.
