My vote will stay for now (no sign of Darth on D1) but if it looks like Lathum will be lynched, I'll switch to J23.

It was convenient for you last game that everyone thought that last game as well. They were wrong then, you're wrong here (shrug).

People in Vegas are worried, worried about the mafia muscling in on their territory, their way of life. Worried enough that you, the good residents of Sin City have gathered together to root out this problem the best way know how. Betting! Everybody's put their vote in. When the Mayor of Vegas counts them up it's clear who the people think the culprit is.

J23 is found, in the audience at the Celine Dion concert. He's dragged away by the Vegas cops and next thing you know his body's found itself in the desert.

The sad thing though? No matter how hard you look through his belongings you can't seem to find anything linking him to the mafia. Sure, there's all those Celine Dion concert stubs, but that's the most incriminating thing in the lot.

J23 was a Vegas resident.

It will be a few minutes while I deal with the bets and bids. You can expect a PM eventually if you won your bet or won your bid. If you don't get anything it means you did neither.

The betting pool is now open for Day 2 lynches. Please PM me your bet as to who will be lynched by 9 a.m. EST. If you have a night action, the deadline for night orders is also 9 a.m. Voting will begin at that point.

I'm open for suggestions for nudging the deadlines around, to make this work for people. I generally don't like long nights, but with the randomness to who gets a night action, I felt like people probably needed the time.

Tomorrow being Friday we will have a normal 9 o'clock night deadline, and then Night 2 will last until 9 p.m. Saturday. Day 3 will start then and continue until 9 p.m. Monday.

Day 2 Dawn

The sun rises, hot and bright, on Vegas. Everything looks seedier in the sunlight, or that's how it seems as you're all forced to stumble out at an ungodly hour to hear the news. One of your own was killed in the night, found dead in a dumpster. Danny had been a good friend to you all, but no longer.

Danny was a Vegas Resident.

So, if a villager won the seer role for the night, they should probably reveal what they found out, yeah? Of course that leaves room for wolf lying, but we'll know the truths of those things eventually.

So I am wondering why Danny and I hate to say it but Saldana is pinging me hard.

I don't want to get to meta gamey and if I am I apoligise. But it is pretty much his MO to try and get rid of me early as a wolf. I wasn't a fan of his vote last night. I realize he came in late and changed it and claimed he was never going to leave it there. The thing is, he left it there for basically the last hour during a very critical time when his vote easily could have and likely did effect the way people voted.

Also, he was a wolf with Danny and I could see how after discussing strategy last game as wolves he would be worried Danny may pick up on something they had discussed last game and wanted him gone early.

yes, you are being meta-gamey, but whatever...we killed you last game because we scanned you as the bodyguard, and I knew you always guard yourself on night one when you are the BG, so it was a slam dunk to kill you on night 2...why in the world would we leave the BG alive, regardless of who it was?

as far as the vote goes, you had your vote on me til 2 minutes to deadline, and i was the lynch leader, so if i wanted you dead, i would have just left it there and never come back to the thread, and then just said i couldnt make it back in time to change it.

lastly, there were alot of other people in the last game that are in this one, alot of whom were screwed the entire game by danny and his cunning wolf scan from night 1, so i hardly think that "sal might want danny out because the talked strategy" is as compelling as "danny won the last game and got me killed in the process" as a motive for wanting him dead last night

but whatever.

You know him better than I, I actually looked at his vote on you as one he was likely to change and maybe would have given you more of a margin for error if people kept the voting close. I'm going to post the voting shortly.

To get the ball rolling on this next day.. I voted him yesterday for no reason and today for the same reason. If a villager got the seer ability they should tell us ASAP if they found a wolf.. it only makea sense because they wont be a seer again...so you wontbe targeted by wolves. Its highly unlikely a villager won the vote so if nobody talks we know the Mafia won that bid.

I do see why someone wouldn't say anything though if they scanned a villager as the odds will be that villager would die tonight by the Mafia because they want to keep the odds on their side.. hmmmm

I don't think it is that meta-gamey, but whatever. And why did you scan me N1 if you, as a wolf, aren't threatened by me?

Correct, but that was D2 or 3 and there was some history already. Plus I was a villager and I never played the " I was going to switch all along" card. I stated yesterday I believe the wolves likely were not on me early and came in with late votes on me, if any, to make it look like they weren't driving the vote. I'm sorry, but you switching off me with one minute to go when it was obvious I wasn't going to be lynched buys you no trust with me. I see it very plausable you could be a wolf who would have benefitted from my death and saw a chance to do that until it because obvious I wasn't going down.

Unless I am mistaken you and Danny were wolves together last game, which means a lot of strategy discussion behind the scenes.

Just my way of looking at things, I am sure there are other people who have done stuff equally as suspect.

Excellent idea. I was thinking that myself since the seer is going to be moving from night to night they are pretty safe.

Hopefully today can go better today, and starting with hearing something from the seer would be good. I am a bit worried that the role went to the wolves though and even if we hear from the seer it won't be good info.

It might be best if the seer doesn't reveal themselves if they the person they scanned was clean. Making the reveal would let the wolves know how much they spent, info which would best be kept secret unless it comes with outing a wolf.

I doubt the wolves would come out and claim a wolf is acyually a clean player. It would result in 2 wolves dying when that info comes out at some point.

I think if they did buy the seer, which I doubt, they just will sit on it and not use it.
