still in preseason. the only move i made was with Kapiec. Chelsea kept increasing thier bid. it started at 18 million, but when they kept moving up till it got to 30 million i couldnt resist.. Kapiec is a good well rounded winger that can do it all, but he isnt the exceptional attacking winger. most of his abilities are in the 13 thru 15 ratings.

now the hard part and finding a replacment winger. that was always the thinest part of my team, now only having Fotheringham, Lagoa, and Aidey. i dont have any young up and comers that play winger either so ill need to scour my scouting repots to find a 1st teamer and maybe some 17 yo prospects

I read this whole thing in one sitting last night and loved it! One of the better dynasty reports.

And I relate to it so much. I know I have a good team but I cannot get the results. Then I give it up to my assman and he wins no problem. WTF am I doing wrong???

GK. Sartor and Tskvit are 1st team. Paterson is 5 star on loan and Smith is solid backup who will play in some easy cup games. Paterson and Smith are HG

For the record, the season is 2029/2030

top defensive prospects

the plan is to play Fisher and Walsh in cup games and then move them to 1st team next season when i move Guldenbrant and Wright. Fisher and Walsh are HG

H vs Watford 2-1 win
@ Norwich 2-2 tie

while my 2 starting GK's "star" ratings isnt very high, their abilities are very good for what i can find cheap. if i wanted a stud keeper i would pay thru the arse for one, and im way to cheap for that. my hot prospect might become a stud keeper

we got on a mini roll

H vs Sunderland 5-1 win
H vs Peterborough 5-2 win
H vs Cardiff 3-1 win

thats 4 wins in last 4 outscoring 17-5

but then we played poorly in the FA cup and barely tied vs Sheff United. we scored real late to rescue a draw and replay

im selling St Mackay. hes real good on paper but hes getting up there, hes expensive and he isnt playing well this season. need to make room for Braxton. im hoping some clubs come make offers for a few more players that ive put prices on, but it seems they are only interested in my Homegrown players, and i want to keep them

@ Bournemouth 5-1 win
@ Bristol City 4-1 win
H vs Crewe 3-0 win

7 wins in a row, outscoring them 29-7 in that stretch

we also won our rematch with Sheff United in the FA cup 3rd round

mixed results

H vs Chelsea 0-0 draw
H vs Man United 4-1 win
@ Arsenal 0-0 draw
@ Newcastle 1-2 loss
H vs Aston Villa 3-1 win
@ Liverpool 2-2 draw
@ West Ham 0-4 loss

a hard schedule, but dropped points @ Newcastle and an embarrassing loss against the Hammers

FA Cup 4th round
H vs Man City 0-2 loss

Champions League 1st knockout round
1st leg @ Inter 1-2 loss

not bad, we can come back and win the 2nd leg.... if we play up to our potential

i also sold RB Saric to Anji (rus) for 13.5 million. i needed to make room for rb Walsh next yeat and he was the guy that someone made an offer for

been a long offseason due to coaching in the WC and also my other manager is a HC in MLS, so they play during Carlisle's offseason.

we sold several players:

Martinez CM- 20 million. were deep at cm and thats a nice payday for me
K Wright- 6.5 million. the Jamaican Defender i got for less than 5 mill a few years ago.
Han byon-hun- free. AC Milan picked him up
Smith GK- 775K. a homegrown player, i wasnt planning on selling him but Arsenal made an offer i couldnt refuse
Barmby 1 million. an american who i had at my serbian WP club for years. he finally got a few games for me in the 2nd half of last season and played in the WC.

Lagoa my LW contract is up at the end of the season, so ive been getting swamped with offers for him. to his credit he keeps his mouth shut and doesnt complain about a new contract or whine about being refused a move. i decide ill sign him to a new contract. hes one of my best players

ive p;layed a few games and won them all. 3 straight wins to open the season. but right at the transfer deadline something bad happens that will threaten my title hopes. PSG come in and offer 28 million and another 4 for Callum Fry, my top striker. i just declined an offer for him a few days earlier but this time he wanted to talk with them. i looked to see how much he wanted for a new contract and realized i couldnt afford his so i took the offer. we will see if my other guys can step up and fill the void he will leave. im dreading this happening next year with Foxcroft. i need to resign him but he wants a massive payday

toby torres my LB also got sold. i had 3 1st team LB's and he was expendable. i also got a stud 16 LB in the youth team, so im deep there

head of youth found a good young CB, he will stay on loan at his old club for the season

my head of youth is also responsible for finding Ivanovic, Weeks, Baxter, and Kuckinic

with these moves my team got younger and cheaper, and i got a huge wad in my bank now.

we maintain our lead. Foxcroft comes in 2nd in world player of the year and makes the team of the year. more good news, i bump my salary cap up to increase the salaries i can offer and barely get Foxcroft to sign a huge new contract. 6.75 million a year over 5 years. 33 million pounds is one of my largest contracts ive ever given in all my years playing FM (i think 40 million was the largest)

Chelsea knock us out of the League Cup 1-3

we beat Derby 2-1 in the FA cup 3rd round

we win the league decisively for the 2nd time in 3 years! but it is the only trophy we win this season

we got knocked out of the Champions league by Arsenal, got dropped out of the FA cup by Man City and lose in the League cup vs Chelsea.

still only 1 league Cup trophy and no Euro trophys
